Ottawa Senators forward Brady Tkachuk (undisclosed) didn't finish Saturday's crucial 3-0 win over the New York Islanders. He appeared to have been hit by a high stick near his eye in the second period. The Senators captain managed to take a couple of shifts after the incident but missed most of the third period. After the game, Senators head coach Travis Green said Tkachuk "wasn't feeling well." Tkachuk entered Saturday's matchup in red-hot form, with three goals and nine assists over his last nine outings.
