Blake Treinen to Face Live Hitters Saturday
Blake Treinen (forearm) will throw one inning against live hitters on Saturday. If he gets through that without any problems, Treinen will embark on a rehab assignment. The 37-year-old right-hander hasn't pitched since April 13 because of a sprained forearm. The Dodgers were using Treinen in a high-leverage role before he suffered the injury. He threw eight innings of three-run ball with 10:3 K:BB, three holds, and two saves over his first eight appearances.
