Detroit Red Wings forward Andreas Athanasiou had two goals and two assists in Tuesday's 8-6 preseason win over the Chicago Blackhawks. Athanasiou has impressed during all of the exhibition games, recording four goals and two assists across three contests. He has played exclusively with Thomas Vanek throughout training camp, while rookie stalwart Filip Zadina has occasionally filled in on the other side. All signs point to Athanasiou being utilized as a dynamic offensive weapon this season which means he should crush the 16 goals and 33 points he put up last year. Snag him as a flier in the later rounds of drafts, although be wary of a poor +/- rating.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
