ANALYSIS: The time is almost here for Cincinnati Reds third-base prospect, Noelvi Marte, who is nearing a return from an 80-game suspension after testing positive for Boldenone, a prohibited, performance-enhancing substance. The suspension began on Opening Day and has put a damper on what was supposed to be a breakout season for the 22-year-old, who ranks number 28 in the MLB Top 100 prospect list.
Eligible to return on June 27, Marte is hoping to pick up where he left off last season during his brief, 35-game stint with the Reds. In his short time on the big-league roster, Marte batted .316 with three home runs, seven doubles, six stolen bases, 15 runs scored, and 15 batted in.

Marte is currently available in 75% of Yahoo Leagues, 94% of ESPN Leagues & 39% of CBS Leagues and is quite an intriguing fantasy asset down the stretch. He will immediately slot into a stacked Cincinnati lineup, and given the Reds injury woes this year, he will be given every opportunity to produce.
Marte's ability to contribute across multiple categories is undeniable, he can hit for average and has enough power and speed to make a 10 HR/20 SB second-half a reality for fantasy managers who were insightful enough to grab him early.
