Opponent - Chicago Blackhawks
The Wings have decided to give the kid a chance on the top line against the Hawks, which is a significant move. Over the last 10 home games, he has ranked in the top six among Wings players for both SCF/60 (scoring chances per 60 minutes) and HDCF/60 (high-danger scoring chances per 60 minutes).
He has earned his chance. He just needs to get to the front of that net and shoot every chance he gets; Dylan Larkin and Lucas Raymond will get him the puck!

Aliaksei Protas - (DK $4.5K || FD $6.3K)
Opponent - Montreal Canadians
This analysis focuses more on DraftKings, as FanDuel has priced him more accurately. Montreal has completely turned their season around and made a remarkable run to get back into playoff contention, so this should be a good matchup. Protas, playing on home ice for Washington, has really hit his stride this season and is a significant reason why the Capitals are currently leading the Metropolitan Division.
Over the last 10 home games, he ranks third in shots on goal per 60 minutes (SF/60), fourth in expected goals for per 60 minutes (XGF/60), and third in scoring chances for per 60 minutes (SCF/60). Additionally, he has recorded two goals and two assists in his last four games. Therefore, he makes for a great one-off option tonight if you're stacking players elsewhere.

I usually like to give you three players from three separate teams, but today, for this slate, we are going back to the Wings for our value defensemen tonight with Edvinsson. He is just another example of Sweden's program regarding developing defensemen because, at 21 years old, Edvinsson is playing like he has been in the NHL for four or five seasons already.
It's rare for such a young defenseman to block shots the way he does, but it's impressive, as he has hit the blocked shot bonus in three of his last four games. When he decides to shoot the puck, we have a chance for a ceiling game from him, as evidenced by his previous game when he put up 19.20 fantasy points.
