NHL DFS Analysis and Picks for 10/13/23
Our first Friday of the season which means the usual tiny 2 game slate so we need to do something to differentiate from the public and I believe these plays will help your build be unique tonight.
The Devils are playing a B2B and are home against the Coyotes we also have the next chapter of the Sid and Ovi show so it should be a fun 2-gamer and we have options to help you build be unique.

DraftKings and FanDuel Goalies - NHL DFS Picks
Darcy Kuemper- DK $7.4K || FD $7.3K It looks like Keumper will have to wait to show us his new Dad strength, looks like Lindgren will be getting the start tonight.
Opponent - Pittsburgh Penguins
Kuemper faced the Penguins thrice last season and recorded one win and two losses with a 2.94 GAA. However, he had an impressive.913 SV% and saved 95 out of 104 shots. When playing on DK, our goal is to have our goalies hit the save bonus and ideally give up three goals or less. Against the Hawks, the Penguins looked slow, and they failed to get any contribution from any line other than the Crosby line. With this game taking place in Washington, the Caps can match to stop Sid's line. Although we don't expect to click on Kuemper frequently this season, on a two-game slate, sometimes we have to take a leap of faith and just go with it. We have a new Daddy narrative going for Mr.Keumper as well, maybe some Dad strength on display tonight!

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NHL DFS Picks
Dylan Strome - DK $4.1K || FD $4.6K
Opponent - Pittsburgh Penguins
It seems like everyone is going for Kuznetsov instead of Dylan, who is $500 more expensive. However, I think Strome is a great pick for tonight's game. He's playing with a fast line that should have more opportunities against the Penguins' depth lines. In the past three games against the Penguins, who were in the bottom half of the league last season for shots allowed per 60 and high danger chances allowed per 60, Strome averaged 3 shots and 10 fppg per game.

Clayton Keller - DK $6.2K || FD $6.6K
Opponent -New Jersey Devils
The University of Arizona Coyotes will probably be the overlooked team tonight and on a 2 game slate that fact alone makes them intriguing, they brought in a bunch of new players in the off-season so they should be an improved team, Keller was a point a game player on the road and his line with Hayton/Schmaltz were very good away from home with an XGF/60 of 3.09 and they also generated almost 14 HDCF/60, it's a tough game for them to open the season but they get the Devils on a B2B and for them to have a chance tonight Keller will have to have himself a big game.

DraftKings and FanDuel Defensemen - NHL DFS Picks
John Carlson - DK $6.5K || FD $6.0K
Opponent - Pittsburgh Penguins
There is a ton of value in this slate which will allow us to roll 2 and possibly 3 stud D men and Carlson is an absolute lock for me tonight on this slate, in his last 5 games against Pittsburgh he has averaged 5 SABS per game(Shot Attempts, Blocked Shots) he has 5 assists and has averaged more than 25 minutes of Ice time, but as Carlson goes so does the Caps offense when he is on the Ice they average .60 goals more per game then when doesn't play, don't overthink it lock and load Mr.Carlson tonight!
