NFL DFS: DraftKings, FanDuel SNF Eagles vs. Rams Daily Fantasy Football Picks - Sunday Night Showdown Slate (Week 12)

Cooper Kupp - Fantasy Football Rankings, NFL Injury News, DFS Lineup Picks

Tonight's top NFL DFS lineup picks for DraftKings, FanDuel -- Eagles vs. Rams SNF showdown slate Week 12 (Nov. 24, 2024). John's NFL daily fantasy sleeper picks.

Welcome back, RotoBallers! We have what should be a really fun matchup as Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles (8-2) head west to take on Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams (5-5). The Eagles have now ripped off six straight wins and are looking to keep pace with the Detroit Lions atop the NFC, while the Rams are in the thick of things in the tight NFC West. Let’s see how this one plays out.

Thanks to today's advanced analytics, I'll do my best to provide you with as much in-depth analysis as possible regarding positional matchups and the like to help put some lunch money in your pocket. Let's make some coin this season, gang, and get right to it.

I will provide you with daily fantasy football picks on FanDuel and DraftKings for the Eagles vs. Rams Sunday night NFL DFS showdown slate on November 24th. These NFL DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks. MVP/Captain - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

Jalen Hurts - QB, $16,200 (DK), $14,500 (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2024 Stats: 2,197 passing yards, 12 passing touchdowns, five interceptions, 103 rushing attempts, 417 rushing yards, 11 rushing touchdowns.
  • Projected Pass DVOA: 12.32%

I’ll start tonight’s slate off with Jalen Hurts. Hurts hasn’t shown the MVP-caliber play we saw in 2022 and the first half of 2023, but he’s been excellent from a fantasy perspective to this point in 2024.

From a passing perspective, this is a great matchup for Hurts. While the Rams pass rush ranks among the best in the league, their corners are young and have struggled. While the Rams don’t give up rushing touchdowns to quarterbacks, I have a hard time seeing them stopping the “tush push.”

My model projects Hurts to throw for 248.62 yards and run for another 37.87 yards. He projects to 1.8 passing touchdowns and 0.56 rushing touchdowns.

Cooper Kupp - WR, $14,400 (DK), $13,500 (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2024 Stats: 66 targets, 47 receptions, 488 receiving yards, four touchdowns.
  • Opponent DVOA vs. WR2: -51.4%

I’ll flip the field and take a look at Cooper Kupp next. The matchup between the Rams receivers in Kupp and Nacua against the Eagles rookie defensive backs Quinyon Mitchell and Cooper DeJean will be exciting.

While I’ll have shares of both Nacua and Kupp, I lean toward Kupp slightly as I believe he’ll work more on the inside against DeJean, leaving Nacua on the outside against Mitchell and Darius Slay Jr. I think DeJean is fantastic, but Kupp sees more work.

My model projects Kupp to catch 6.85 of his 9.82 targets for 68.93 yards and 0.39 touchdowns.

Other Captains/MVPs: Saquon Barkley, A.J. Brown, Puka Nacua, Dallas Goedert

Flex Plays - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

A.J. Brown - WR, $9,800 (DK), $12,500 (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2024 Stats: 49 targets, 33 receptions, 618 receiving yards, three touchdowns.
  • Opponent DVOA vs. WR1: -13.5%

I’ll roll with A.J. Brown as a 1:1 handcuff with Jalen Hurts. The Eagles got some unfortunate news on Friday when it was announced that DeVonta Smith will not suit up for tonight’s game with a hamstring injury.

Insert A.J. Brown. Brown had an absolute showing against the Rams in 2023, catching six of eight targets for 127 yards. This was the middle of Brown’s incredible six-game run of 125+ receiving yards. I can envision seeing more of that tonight in the absence of Smith.

My model projects Brown to catch 6.93 of 10.12 targets for 97.21 yards and 0.61 touchdowns.

Dallas Goedert - TE, $6,400 (DK), $10,000 (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2024 Stats: 37 targets, 31 receptions, 387 receiving yards, and one touchdown.
  • Opponent DVOA vs. TE: 12.3%

I’ll stick with another Eagles pass catcher next in Dallas Goedert. Goedert will slide up into the second option in the passing game for the Eagles tonight, and there aren’t many better matchups for that to be the case. The Rams rank 24th in DVOA against the tight end position, allowing 5.4 receptions, 62.3 yards, and 0.4 touchdowns per game against the position.

My model projects Goedert to catch 4.48 of 5.94 targets for 52.14 receiving yards and 0.39 touchdowns.

Other Flex Options: Saquon Barkley, Puka Nacua, Kyren Williams, Matthew Stafford

Value Plays - NFL DFS Lineup Picks

Joshua Karty - K, $4,800 (DK), $8,500 (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2024 Stats: 16/20 field goals made/attempted, 19/21 extra points made/attempted.

I’ll start my value plays off with Joshua Karty. The Sean McVay against Vic Fangio matchup is one to watch, as McVay and others from the “Shanahan tree” agree that Fangio is the toughest defensive coordinator to take on year over year.

With Matthew Stafford under center and the likes of Kyren Williams, Cooper Kupp, and Puca Nacua in the Rams offense, I have to figure they’re going to get some blows in. However, the Eagles' defense should hold firm and force LA into field-goal situations. This is a great opportunity for value scoring from Karty, and he’ll be in many of my lineups.

Jahan Dotson - WR, $2,800 (DK), $7,500 (FD)

Key Stats

  • 2024 Stats: 17 targets, nine receptions, 106 receiving yards.
  • Opponent DVOA vs. WR2: -4.2%

I’ll wrap things up with Jahan Dotson. With DeVonta Smith ruled out, it opens the door for Dotson to take another step forward and contribute to this Philadelphia passing offense. Dotson hasn’t seen more than four targets per game, though it seems that Jalen Hurts’s confidence in him has risen in recent weeks, as Dotson is seeing targets further down the field.

My model projects Dotson to catch 2.9 of 4.05 targets for 39.45 yards and 0.25 touchdowns.

Other Value Options: Johnny Wilson, Blake Corum, Davis Allen, Grant Calcaterra

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and good luck, everyone!
