NASCAR Practice Speeds, Lap Averages, and Notes for Charlotte - Coca-Cola 600 (2026)

Ricky Stenhouse Jr - NASCAR DFS Picks, Betting Picks, Daily Fantasy NASCAR Driver

NASCAR practice speeds, lap averages and notes for the 2026 Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Use the NASCAR stats and data to build DFS lineups on DraftKings. Ricky Stenhouse Jr was fastest.

The NASCAR Cup Series ran a single practice session at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon in preparation for the upcoming Coca-Cola 600 on Sunday evening.

The 39-car field was supposed to be split into two groups for practice, but due to rain and simply getting a session in, NASCAR allowed all teams to practice in one big group.

Below you will find key notes from the practice session as well as the practice speeds for all drivers.

Important Practice Notes

Carson Hocevar - The No. 77 Chevrolet had a bunch of speed in it during practice, and Hocevar mentioned how good it was. Additionally, during one of the brief stoppages for rain, the team realized that the car had a tire going down, so that was good fortune on them to find that issue before something major possibly happened.

Austin Dillon - Unlike Hocevar, Austin Dillon was not as lucky and had a tire go down while on track. He was able to limp the No. 3 Chevrolet back into the pits with minimal damage.

William Byron - One notable quote during practice on Saturday came from William Byron, who said that the session wasn't very helpful in preparing for the race because of the green race track.
