NASCAR Practice Speeds, Lap Averages, and Notes for Bristol-2 - Bass Pro Shops Night Race (2025)

Ryan Blaney - NASCAR DFS Picks, Betting Picks, Daily Fantasy NASCAR

NASCAR practice speeds, lap averages and notes for the 2025 Bass Pro Shops Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway. Use the NASCAR stats and data to build DFS lineups on DraftKings. Justin Haley was fastest.

The NASCAR Cup Series ran a single practice session at Bristol Motor Speedway on Friday afternoon/evening in preparation for the upcoming Bass Pro Shops Night Race on Saturday night.

The 39-car field was split into two groups for practice, with each group getting 25 minutes on track.

Below you will find the two groups, key notes from the practice session, as well as the practice speeds for all drivers.

Important Practice Notes

Tire Wear - The biggest question heading into the weekend was whether or not we would see significant tire wear this weekend. There was optimism by some drivers that we would. That was not the case in practice, though.

Corey Heim - Corey Heim will be making his fourth Cup Series start of the season this weekend, driving the No. 67 Toyota for 23XI Racing. His finishes this season have been 13th at Kansas, 37th at Nashville, and 29th at Richmond.

Austin Hill - Like Corey Heim, Austin Hill will also be making his fourth Cup Series start of the season this weekend at Bristol. He will be piloting the No. 33 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing. He has finished 31st at Darlington this season, ninth at Chicago Street Course, and 30th at Daytona.
