DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Tanner Bibee vs. SF ($9,200 DraftKings; $9,800 FanDuel)

Bibee has recorded three straight starts of at throwing at least six innings and allowing two or fewer runs. For the season, he has a 3.47 ERA and an even better 3.33 FIP. After logging a 24.1 percent strikeout rate last year, he has a 28.5 percent strikeout rate this year. More success could be coming against the Giants, who only have a .686 OPS versus right-handed pitchers.

Luis Castillo vs. TOR ($8,700 DraftKings; $9,100 FanDuel)

Castillo has a disappointing 4.73 FIP and a 1.33 WHIP on the road this season. However, he has a 3.01 FIP and a 1.10 WHIP at home. Not only does Castillo have the benefit of starting at home Friday, but he will face a Blue Jays team that has scored the seventh-fewest runs in baseball. Considering his cheaper salary, he might even be slightly more appealing than Bibee.

Drew Thorpe at MIA ($7,000 DraftKings; $7,700 FanDuel)

Thorpe’s last two starts have come against bad lineups in the Tigers and Rockies. He capitalized by allowing a total of two runs over 12 innings. Aside from getting hammered by the Diamondbacks, Thorpe has looked good in three of his four starts. Another favorable matchup awaits him in the Marlins, who have scored the second-fewest runs in baseball.

Also consider: Pablo Lopez vs. HOU, Kevin Gausman at SEA

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Ketel Marte – 2B, ARI vs. Randy Vasquez ($5,100 DK; $3,700 FD)

After being hit in the forearm by a comebacker in his last outing, Vasquez has been cleared to start against the Diamondbacks. He is a pitcher to target hitters against, given that he has a 5.31 FIP and a 1.66 WHIP. One of the top hitters to consider for a Diamondbacks stack is Marte, who has a .228 ISO and a .368 wOBA this season.

Luis Arraez – 1B/2B, SD vs. Slade Cecconi ($4,700 DK; $2,800 FD)

Cecconi generally pitches to contact, posting just a 19.9 percent strikeout rate this season. He has also given up an 11.2 percent barrel rate. Arraez doesn’t bring much power to the plate, but his contact skills are elite. He has just a 5.9 percent strikeout rate to go along with his .312 batting average. His salary is especially appealing on FanDuel.

Jose Miranda – 1B/3B, MIN vs. Shawn Dubin ($3,700 DK; $2,900 FD)

Miranda produced five hits against the Tigers on Thursday, three of which were doubles. With that stellar performance, he has a .192 ISO and a .368 wOBA for the season. With the Astros set to go with a bullpen game, Miranda has the potential to provide value.

Also consider: Salvador Perez, Bobby Witt Jr., Brandon Lowe

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Luis Robert Jr. - OF, CWS vs. Bryan Hoeing ($5,200 DK; $3,600 FD)

When Robert is healthy, he provides a ton of power for the White Sox. He has a .287 ISO for the season, launching 10 home runs over just 34 games. Hoeing, who has given up 1.7 HR/9 for his career, is expected to start what should be a bullpen game for the Marlins. What stands out about that is the Marlins have the ninth-highest bullpen WHIP in baseball.

Jurickson Profar – OF, SD vs. Slade Cecconi ($4,300 DK; $3,400 FD)

Profar recorded two more hits Thursday, one of which was a home run. He has been a pleasant surprise for the Padres, recording a .390 wOBA for the season. Part of his success can be attributed to his stellar eye at the plate that has left him with a 12.3 percent walk rate and a 14.5 percent strikeout rate. With Cecconi posting a 5.81 ERA and a 4.94 FIP, Profar is another member of the Padres to target.

Jake McCarthy– OF, ARI vs. Randy Vasquez ($3,900 DK; $2,700 FD)

Don’t expect much power from McCarthy. However, he has 39 stolen bases over 174 games since the start of last season. What’s really encouraging for him is that he has increased his wOBA from .289 last year to .333 this season. With how bloated Vasquez’s WHIP is, McCarthy could have an opportunity to steal a base or two in this matchup.

Also consider: Shohei Ohtani, Teoscar Hernandez, Jackson Merrill

DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks

1. Diamondbacks vs. Randy Vasquez

2. Padres vs. Slade Cecconi

  • Favorite Plays: Jurickson Profar, Luis Arraez, Jackson Merrill

3. Twins vs. Shawn Dubin
