ANALYSIS: After beginning the season on the injured list with fractured ribs, Lars Nootbaar has begun to settle in and is worth adding in all 12-team leagues.
Overall, Nootbaar is riding a .202/.307/.354 line with three long balls and two swiped bags through his first 27 games of the season. Recently, the 26-year-old has been on a bit of a hot streak, posting a .318/.400/.636 line with two home runs from May 5 to May 11 and looks to have found his footing after an extended early absence.

Last season, Nootbaar had double-digit home runs and steals with a .261 AVG, which made him a solid contributor in standard leagues. He looks poised to surpass those numbers this season with his much improved 48.7% hard-hit rate, compared to a mere 37.8% last season.
Nootbaar will be in the Cardinal’s lineup every day, which will provide him ample opportunities to tally counting stats and be a solid five-category contributor throughout the summer making him a safe high-floor add in all formats.
