KBO DFS Lineup Picks for 6/11/20 - DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball

John Gresens' KBO DFS lineup picks for contests on FanDuel and DraftKings on 6/11/20. Daily fantasy baseball analysis for pitchers, hitters and DFS stacks.

Welcome back, RotoBallers, to another KBO DFS pick column with yours truly! If you haven't been following me on Twitter @efhatch1990dfs, then you should start! I have been covering KBO since day one, and have been creating my own personal KBO DFS Cheat Sheets to help people win money, you will now be able to find those sheets here on Rotoballer with the ease of a click and that is why you won't be seeing my sheets included here anymore unless I make a custom sheet for a particular reason!

New to KBO? Don't worry, we got you covered! DraftKings and FanDuel will use the same scoring system that they do for MLB, however, the roster builds are much different on FanDuel. You must roster two infielders, two outfielders, and two utility players along with a pitcher for a total of only seven players on FanDuel.  DraftKings has kept its normal MLB structure with two starting pitchers and an entire eight-hitter lineup for a total of ten players. Building lineups on each site is going to take a different approach on most nights.

Today, I'll be providing my KBO DFS lineup picks and analysis for this five-game slate on DraftKings and FanDuel that locks at 1:00 AM on Thursday, June 11, 2020. You can check our daily KBO Betting Picks as well. Make sure you are also following me @efhatch1990dfs on Twitter, and good luck RotoBallers!

KBO DFS Pitchers

Won Tae Choi (KIW) -195

$9.3K Draftkings, $26 FanDuel

We just saw what I would consider a better pitcher in Jokisch fail is, coming away with only 13.3 DK points in this exact spot. Despite that I’m going back to the well here against Samsung. I believe he is the best cash game arm on the slate as he is showing us he’s the same pitcher this year as he was last year.

His strikeout rate is actually up a tick and is closer to his career numbers at 17.3% this season and he has the second-highest strikeout rate on the slate and a favorable matchup. If he’s pitching well he can go longer than six innings as he’s gone seven or more twice this year and both were in under 100 pitches.

The downside is again the hitter-friendly park, but the good news is Samsung only has a team ISO of 0.146 which is 4th worst in the league and has been striking out at 17.7% rate. Choi will be my SP1 for cash games tomorrow morning.

Min Woo Lee (KIA) -177

$8 K Draftkings, $25 Fanduel

Min Woo Lee is the next guy up for me in what seems like a tough matchup against KT, but they have been struggling a lot lately, winning just two of there last ten games. They also had a few players return from an injury that seem to be having a hard time getting back into it. KT is striking out at a reasonable 18.3% clip which is fifth in the league and is only walking at a 7.1% rate. When you add in the fact that they’re hitting right under .300 against righties and this is looking like a decent spot.

Now we look at Lee’s stats this season in his first year as a full-time starter: 3.86 ERA, 3.26 FIP, 1.10 WHIP, 17.2% K%, 8% BB%, 0 HR, and 0.210 Avg. Those are some good numbers that are even better than his career numbers as a reliever. Averaging over six innings per game, he can go out there and get us some K’s. I don’t think he will be all that highly-owned in what most people perceive to be a bad matchup. I really like him a lot for GPPs.

Jun Won Seo (LOT) -220

$6.5 Draftkings, $22 FanDuel

Jun Won Seo has had a very tough road so far this year, facing Doosan twice, KT twice, Kiwoom and Kia in his first six starts of the year have given up multiple home runs twice already, but in order to hit home runs you have to hit the ball first, Hanwha team stats verse righties are:

0.224 avg, 0.271 BABIP, 7.3% BB%, 20.8% K%, 0.099 ISO, and 0.609 OPS

As you can see they occupy the basement of the league in nearly every category. Seo isn’t a great pitcher by any means as he’s still young and honing his craft but this Hanwha team is just bad and I thought the minor leaguers may have given them a spark but I haven’t seen it and I don’t expect it to start tonight.

I also expect his 4.28 ERA to come down as he starts to see easier opponents. As the second cheapest pitcher on the slate and a huge favorite, I like him as my cash SP2 although it’s not as tho he’s a lock for that, he is in a great spot and should be able to pay off his salary and get the win.

Other Options:

  • Min Ho Lee (LG) - This being the first part of a doubleheader if he is pitching well they could leave him out there longer then usual to conserve their bullpen, this can come back to bite you if he is left too long.
  • Mike Wright (NCD) - GPP only

KBO Top Hitter Stacks

Kiwoom Heroes

Right back to the well on this one for me even though they completely failed yesterday as the chalk team, I love this spot once again for this Kiwoom team who have some great power bats in a hitter-friendly park. This team is a great mix of high and low salary and make things fit.

They get to face Dae Woo Kim who has transitioned from reliever to starter and in the three starts since, has given up three home runs two being in one game, I’ll also add that that was in Jamsil the best pitchers park. I love loading up on the power bats and using the lower part of the order for salary relief and to be a little different.

Main Targets:

  • Ha Seong Kim
  • Jung Hoo Lee
  • ByungHo Park
  • Dong Won Park

Secondary

  • Byung Woo Jeon
  • Hye Sung Kim

Kia Tigers

This is my second stop for stacks tonight as the Tigers get a prime spot against Min Soo Kim who has given up three home runs in his 10.1 innings this year and as we saw last night KIA is firing on all cylinders scoring 10 runs in just 5 innings of work.

He has only started one game this year against a struggling Lotte team he was ran off the mound in just 3 ⅓ innings, giving up three earned runs on five hits. Kia isn’t the greatest offense in the world but they have a good matchup tonight in a struggling pitcher whose career ERA is 5.80 leading me to believe that he’s not going to get much better.

Main Targets:

Secondary

  • Min Sang Yoo
  • Ji Hyuk Ryu Salary relief

Lotte Giants

Lotte seems to have gotten it together now as they’re on a five-game win streak all at home in probably the best hitter park in the league. During their win streak, they have scored five or more runs in four and nine or more twice including twelve last night.

Tomorrow they get to face a 30-year-old pitcher who has struggled throughout his career so we know what we’re getting here, he’s a low strikeout pitcher at 13.5% in his career and 14% this season and with a 1.84 WHIP, he’s allowing base runners. Lotte hasn’t been great against righties but I’m willing to ride the wave right now while they're at home. Dixon Machado is on a three-game multi-hit streak so play him while he’s on fire.

Main Targets:

  • Dixon Machado
  • Jun Woo Jeon
  • Dae Ho Lee
  • Ah Seop Son

Secondary Targets:

  • Chi Hong An
  • Yoon Seok Oh

Other DFS Stacks

  • NC Dinos and Doosan Bears are always in play but you can look at any article ever written for KBO to know that and I thought I'd write about some different stacks today.

Good luck in your DFS contests everyone. Be sure to stop back every day for some more KBO DFS analysis here at RotoBaller!
