Will Mike Evans play today for Week 14? Is Mike Evans playing or out? The latest Mike Evans injury report and fantasy updates.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans (collarbone) returned to practice this week for the first time since suffering a broken collarbone during the team's Week 7 loss to the Detroit Lions.
The future Hall of Famer appears to be getting close to returning to the field after initial reports suspected that he could miss the rest of the regular season. With the fantasy playoffs nearing, his potential return is a welcome sight for fantasy managers.
Will Evans suit up on Sunday, or will managers need to pivot to an alternative option?

Mike Evans Fantasy Football Injury Update
Bucs head coach Todd Bowles told reporters on Friday that Evans won't play in Sunday's divisional matchup against the New Orleans Saints. The 32-year-old wideout was listed as a limited participant in practice every day this week, but will be held out through at least Week 14. Bowles added that Evans is fine physically, but he needs to see how he reacts to football movement and hits, according to JC Allen of Bucs Gameday.

It remains to be seen if the Bucs' WR1 will be good to go next Thursday night against the Atlanta Falcons. He was close to playing this week, but his status for Week 15 will depend on how much progress he can make on a short practice week. The team may limit his snaps upon returning, similar to how it managed Chris Godwin Jr. and Bucky Irving in their returns.
Mike Evans Fantasy Football Injury Impact
Evans still needs to be stashed in all formats for his eventual return. He's proved himself to be a high-end fantasy producer for his entire 12-year career. He recorded 14 receptions for 140 yards and a touchdown on 32 targets in four games played this season.
The veteran ranked as the WR11 in PPR leagues last season and posted six top-12 WR weeks, tied for the fourth most among wide receivers. And he was even better after returning from an injury in Week 12, scoring the second-most total PPR points among wide receivers over the final seven weeks.

For Week 14, Godwin and rookie Emeka Egbuka are expected to pace the Bucs' passing attack, with tight end Cade Otton vying for targets as well. Second-year wideout Jalen McMillan (neck) has been on injured reserve all season, and he joined Evans in returning to practice this week, but has also been ruled out.
Expect Baker Mayfield to rely on the duo of Godwin (as he gets further removed from injury) and Egbuka, who's been heavily involved the entire season.
The New Orleans defense has been stingy against the pass in recent weeks, not allowing 200 yards passing in three straight games. With Mayfield dealing with a banged-up left shoulder, the Bucs could opt to rely on their ground game with Irving back in the fold after returning last week.
