The Minnesota Vikings have some major decisions to make this off-season.
Their star quarterback, Kirk Cousins, is heading into the final year of his contract after signing a one-year extension last year. But after another brutal playoff loss, questions are being asked about whether the team has faith in number eight.
Will he be the team's starting quarterback in 2023? Will they trade the veteran QB or extend him further? Let's take a look at all the information currently available.

Is Kirk Cousins The Vikings Starting Quarterback in 2023?
The 34-year-old is coming off a season in which he threw for 4,597 yards, 29 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions. It was not his best year.
Perhaps more importantly, and something that is of concern to both fans and fantasy managers, is that Cousins once again failed in the biggest moments this postseason.
For whatever reason, the Vikings captain hasn't led his team to victory when the lights shine the brightest over the course of his career. Coming off the latest loss, a 31-24 heartbreaking loss to the Giants during wild-card weekend, fantasy owners and Minnesota fans are wondering if Cousins will ever be able to come through in the clutch.
Could Kirk Cousins Be Traded Or Will The Vikings Sign Him To A Multi-Year Deal?
Rumors are circulating as to whether the organization truly has faith that Cousins is the answer for them moving forward. Many feel it might be time for a change, but Vikings General Manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah said this week he will look at "all options" pertaining to keeping his QB in place for multiple years, and that his "expectation" is that #8 will remain the starter for at least the 2023 season.
Head coach Kevin O'Connell also stated this week that he has faith in his quarterback for next year and beyond. He said he expects him to be “leading the charge” when it comes to evolving the offense after a full year in his scheme. Does confidence from management and the coaching staff mean job security for the 2012 fourth-round draft pick and former Michigan State stand-out?
It's hard to imagine Cousins won't be a starter in 2023, he's too good, and he has the skills to continue being an above-average NFL quarterback. The only question is, will he still be doing that for the Vikings? Stay tuned, only time will tell.
