ANALYSIS: The jury is out on how well Carolina’s offense will do this year with rookie phenom Bryce Young at the helm, but offseason addition Hayden Hurst got off to an encouraging start with his new team in the 2023 season opener against Atlanta.

Hurst should continue to produce as long as the average - and often-injured - wideout pair of D.J. Chark and Adam Thielen is all he has to contend with target-wise.
His expected volume, and injuries to tight-end stalwarts such as Travis Kelce and Mark Andrews, put Hurst on the low-TE1 borderline. Though a Week 2 matchup against the Saints is a tough one, he should remain on fantasy radars for the foreseeable future.
