FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (10/27/18): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

After a seven game Friday night slate, we have a solid nine game for Saturday night. All games will tip between 7:00 ET and 8:30 ET which is always nice as east-coasters don't have to wait all night to see the final results of the late-night games.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 10/27/18. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel.

You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks and our Premium DFS Cheat Sheet. And don't forget to check out our brand new NBA DFS Matchup Ratings tool with daily player projections. Make sure you don't set your lineups too early and also be sure to check player statuses and availability prior to opening tip. Find me on Twitter at @cjohnson707. Good luck.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Ben Simmons - PG, vs CHA ($9,700)

Simply put, Simmons is FAR too cheap not to play tonight. Some back pain that got him removed from one game and caused him to miss the next game has brought his salary from $11,100 to $9,700. Simmons played 38 minutes three nights ago and showed no signs that the injury was still lingering. Expect Simmons to see full minutes tonight- he has 60-70 point upside.

Marco Belinelli - SG, vs LAL ($3,900)

With multiple injuries on the Spurs, Belinelli has moved into a role that could allow him to become fantasy relevant. Belinelli is coming off two solid 20+ point fantasy games and should be able to continue this as his minutes remain around 23 per game. At $3,900, if Belinelli can produce 20 points, he will put any daily team in an excellent position to pay up for studs and really push up some leaderboards.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Giannis Antetokounmpo - SF, vs ORL ($12,400)

Another day, another NBA slate stacked with forwards. On Fanduel, the only way to consistently win moving forward is to have one, if not two or three, big named forwards in your lineup. For tonight, Antetokounmpo seems to be in the best spot to unleash another slate-breaking performance. Antetokounmpo is on the second-leg of a back-to-back but he only played 23 minutes last night as he sat the entire fourth quarter in a blow-out. There are many reason to believe that he will see full-run tonight as long as the Magic can keep the game close. The Bucks offense is potent enough that Antetokounmpo will always be a triple-double candidate when he plays full minutes.

Marcus Morris - PF, @ DET ($4,500)

Using the not-so-fantasy-relevant "eye-test", Morris has looked like an all around stud early in the season. He plays the game hard and as a result has been rewarded with some increased minutes recently. The Celtics offense has been struggling to find any real momentum but Morris has still been able to reach 6x value four of the last six games. At $4,500, he provides some excellent salary relief and will continue to exceed value if he can continue to deliver 30-point fantasy games. The only downside is that the Celtics are deep- Morris could see reduced minutes if other players get hot.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Nikola Vucevic - C, @ MIL ($8,200)

Vucevic has been excellent over the last week- two 48 point games and a 65 point monster against the 76ers. Crazy enough, his salary has barely changed as he started the week at $7,900 and is now only $8,200. As mentioned above, if Giannis has a big game it is going to be in large due to the Magic keeping it close- Vucevic will need to play another massive role if they wish to do that. The only center on this slate that has a solid chance of out-performing Vucevic is Embiid, who comes at $2,800 more expensive. Due to that, taking the savings and the 40+ points from Vucevic, and moving on seems like the way to go tonight.
