James Tibbs III, OF, Los Angeles Dodgers

Level: Triple-A

2026 stats: 54 G, .322/.426/.659, 17 HR, 51 RBI, 55 R, 3 SB, 14.7% BB%, 25.1% K%, .386 BABIP, .465 wOBA, 169 wRC+

This is Tibbs' third appearance in our Dynasty Fantasy Baseball Prospect Sleepers, Breakouts, Risers series this season. The 23-year-old was traded from the Red Sox to the Dodgers in exchange for Dustin May at the trade deadline last year. Ever since then, he has been phenomenal, living up to his first-round draft stock.

The 23-year-old has shown advanced results at the plate, hitting pitchers of both handedness types. His power has remained consistent across all levels of the minors, and his exit velocities should play at the next level. Defensively, he doesn't possess the speed needed to play center field, but his arm will survive in right. He can also hold his own at first base if the outfield doesn't work out.

Last week, Tibbs went 9-for-24 with six home runs, 16 RBI, two walks, and eight strikeouts. The discipline wasn't great, but his run creation numbers were otherworldly once again. He has been the hottest prospect in baseball all year long. If he played for any other team, he'd be in the majors by now, but the Dodgers have so much talent in the majors that he'll need to wait a little longer.

Ryan Sloan, SP, Seattle Mariners

Level: Double-A

2026 stats: 9 G, 9 GS, 1-2, 37.1 IP, 4.34 ERA, 3.01 FIP, 11.81 K/9, 2.41 BB/9, 0.72 HR/9, 54.4% GB%, .363 BABIP

Sloan was the Mariners' second-round pick in 2024, fetching a $3 million signing bonus as a talented right-handed pitching prospect out of high school. He spent last season at Single-A and High-A before opening the 2026 season in the Double-A rotation, which also features top pitching prospect Kade Anderson.

Sloan throws a fastball with high induced vertical break numbers, sitting 94-97 mph and touching 99 mph. His slider and splitter both complement the heater nicely, generating plenty of swings and misses. He's a strike thrower who is capable of missing bats in the zone. He may need to induce more chase as he gets closer to the majors, but we don't think he'll have any trouble doing so.

Sloan spun an absolute gem last Saturday, allowing zero runs, zero hits, and zero walks over six innings of work. He struck out 11 batters along the way, inducing 18 total whiffs. The pairing of Sloan and Anderson has set up the Mariners' pitching staff for many years to come. The 20-year-old will likely make his MLB debut next year, making him a must-roster starter in most dynasty leagues.

Josue De Paula, OF, Los Angeles Dodgers

Level: Double-A

2026 stats: 48 G, .323/.424/.545, 8 HR, 45 RBI, 44 R, 16 SB, 14.7% BB%, 13.4% K%, .349 BABIP, .434 wOBA, 159 wRC+

As hot as Tibbs has been this year, De Paula has established himself as the No. 1 prospect in the Dodgers' farm system. Signed out of the Dominican Republic in 2022, De Paula has hit the ball at every level he has been, giving the Dodgers another future superstar to add to their already star-studded MLB outfield.

De Paula has demonstrated plenty of raw power while maintaining impressive discipline in the minors. He knows the zone quite well, posting a 20.6% out-of-zone swing rate (97th percentile) this year. When he does swing, he's a safe bet to make contact, maintaining a 17.3% whiff rate (91st percentile). The defense isn't great, but the bat will certainly carry him to the majors.

Last week, De Paula went 12-for-24 with two home runs, six doubles, six RBI, two walks, and one strikeout. He consistently put the ball in play with impressive results, and he also went 2-for-2 stealing bases. The 21-year-old left-handed hitter has an MLB ETA of 2027, making him a top prospect to stash in dynasty fantasy baseball leagues.

Carlson Reed, SP, Pittsburgh Pirates

Level: High-A

2026 stats: 10 G, 10 GS, 3-2, 42.0 IP, 4.93 ERA, 4.53 FIP, 9.21 K/9, 4.93 BB/9, 0.86 HR/9, 49.5% GB%, .284 BABIP

The Pirates selected Reed in the fourth round of the 2023 MLB Draft. The right-hander was drafted out of West Virginia, fetching a $600,000 signing bonus. He has been worth every penny for the Pirates, working his way up to High-A with impressive results as a starter.

Reed's primary pitch is an average fastball. The pitch has decent velocity in the mid-90s, but it lacks significant movement, which means it could get hit around as he gets to the higher levels. Fortunately, he has much better secondary pitches in his slider and changeup. These offerings should allow him to stick in a starting role long-term, especially if he can continue to miss bats.

Reed took the mound for his latest start on Friday, and it was nothing short of impressive. He fired seven perfect frames, retiring all 21 batters that he faced. Seven batters went down via the strikeout, and Reed ultimately contributed to a combined no-hitter. The 23-year-old still has a while before he's in the mix for an MLB roster spot, but the tremendous upside makes him an intriguing dynasty stash.

Jaron Elkins, OF, Los Angeles Dodgers

Level: Single-A

2026 stats: 35 G, .296/.399/.563, 8 HR, 31 RBI, 35 R, 18 SB, 10.0% BB%, 27.6% K%, .386 BABIP, .424 wOBA, 137 wRC+

Elkins was a 2023 eighth-round pick and is the third Dodgers prospect to appear in this week's article. Selected out of high school nearly three years ago, Elkins fetched a $407,500 signing bonus and has been worth every penny as he continues to swing an outrageously hot bat in the lower levels of the minors.

Elkins displays an impressive power/speed combo, and he has cut down on strikeouts relative to last year. There's still plenty of whiff in his game (36.5%), but he makes up for it with high exit velocities. This year, he has also posted a 71.7% zone swing rate, which ranks in the 80th percentile.

Last week, Elkins went 8-for-19 with three home runs, two doubles, one triple, and eight RBI. He also walked once, struck out twice, and went 2-for-3 stealing bases. The 21-year-old is still in Single-A, so he won't make his MLB debut for at least another two years. However, when the time does come, he'll have plenty of fantasy appeal because of his ability to hit home runs and swipe bags.
