DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Hockey Picks (11/24/23): NHL DFS Lineups

sidney crosby NHL DFS daily fantasy hockey lineup picks

The top daily fantasy hockey lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on November 24th 2023. Sean's NHL DFS goalies, value plays, stacks and power play picks.

Welcome, RotoBallers! My name is Sean Goodwin, also known as "Goody." In this article, I will share with you some plays and matchups that may not be on the public radar. I will provide you with the best tools to succeed and the information you need to create the optimal lineups for your GPP and cash game NHL contests on both DraftKings and FanDuel.

Today, I'll be bringing you my NHL lineup picks, analysis, and advice for NHL DFS contests on DraftKings and FanDuel on Friday, November 24th, 2023, at 7:30 PM EDT. Be sure to also check out our awesome NHL tools, including our Lineup Optimizer, Research Station, Projections, and DFS Cheat Sheets!

If you have any questions on today's slate, bankroll management, GPP strategy, cash game strategy, or anything else, don’t hesitate to reach out, via Twitter @bignumber55 or in our premium Discord chat. Good luck, RotoBallers!

NHL DFS Analysis and Picks for 11/24/23

Welcome to the day after Turkey Day! Today, we have approximately 12 hours of hockey scheduled, which is fantastic news for hockey fans. Both DraftKings (DK) and FanDuel (FD) have divided the games into different slates. Therefore, I will provide some early slate plays and stacks that might help you increase your winnings today. Let's double up on the green!

DISCLOSURE: Make sure to monitor the NHL news feeds for the latest player status and injury news.

DraftKings and FanDuel Goalies - NHL DFS Picks

Mackenzie Blackwood - DK $7.3K || FD $6.7K(Early Slate)

Opponent - Montreal Canadians

Close your eyes click on Blackwood's name and then go back to eating leftover turkey, it's best not to watch! lmao

TBD - DK $K || FD $K(Main Slate)
 Others To Consider (Cash/GPP):
  • Hart (DK $7.2DK || FD 6.6K)(Early Slate)

Want more NHL DFS tools and content? Our NHL Premium package includes our daily DFS Cheat Sheets, Research Station, Lineup Optimizer, and access to our VIP Discord Chatrooms. Doug Shain (@BanksterDFS) joins the NHL team in 2023 with his proven track record - join in on the winning!

DraftKings and FanDuel Centers - NHL DFS Picks

Anze Kopitar - DK $6.2K || FD $7.6K(Early Slate)

Opponent - Anaheim Ducks

The Montreal Canadiens, who haven't been scoring many goals lately, managed to score five goals against the Anaheim Ducks and John Gibson. Now, the Los Angeles Kings are in excellent form and have a strong team. On the early slate, Anze Kopitar is priced up to 3K less than other top centers, despite being a top play. The Kings may go unnoticed, but it would be a mistake to overlook them on the early slate.

Wyatt Johnston - DK $4.6K || FD $6.3K(Main Slate)

Opponent - Calgary Flames

This is more of a DraftKings play based on the fact that he is underpriced. However, he's a great option for today's game. He has taken at least three shots in five straight games against some very good teams. Today, he is up against a Flames team playing their fifth game in seven days. He will likely go overlooked tonight, even on a six-game slate, and makes for a great value pick.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):
  • Poitras (DK $3.6K || FD $4.7K)(Early Slate)
  • Colton (DK $4.0K || FD $4.9K)(Main Slate)

DraftKings and FanDuel Wings - NHL DFS Picks

Tom Wilson - DK $4.6K || FD $4.9K(Early Slate)

Opponent - Edmonton Oilers

Our current strategy is to focus on targeting the Oilers in each of their scheduled games. Considering their current struggles, it would be wise to capitalize on their weaknesses. Additionally, Wilson is a great value pick in the early slate, especially if you plan on stacking up the Leafs and Devils.

Jared McCann - DK $4.7K || FD $5.8K(Main Slate)

Opponent - Vancouver Canucks

It seems that the DK pricing algorithm is not updated late enough to account for the West Coast games. McCann has taken at least shots in 4 of the last 5 games, scored in two consecutive games, and is a great option for both GPP and cash today.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Bertuzzi (DK $3.9K || FD $6.3K)(Early Slate)
  • Necas (DK $5.0K || FD $5.1K)(Main Slate)

DraftKings and FanDuel Defensemen - NHL DFS Picks

Dougie Hamilton  - DK $6.4K || FD $4.9K(Early Slate)

Opponent - Columbus Blue Jackets

Dougie has only scored two goals this season, but he is still shooting the puck at a decent rate. He has been demoted to the second power-play unit, which will decrease his ownership on the slate. However, his ceiling is among the top of any defenseman playing on the early slate.

Miro Hesikanen  - DK $5.1K || FD $5.7K(Main Slate)

Miro Heiskanen has only scored one goal this season, which is surprising given that he is one of the top defensemen in the league. However, at a price of $5100, he is a great choice for today's game, particularly because he is on one of the top power play units in the league. We expect him to have some good luck with the puck soon, and we will gladly take advantage of this opportunity.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

  • Carlson (DK 6.2$K || FD $6.1K)(Early Slate)
  • Dobson (DK $6.8K || FD $7.3K)(Main Slate)

NHL DFS Top Power Plays and Stacks

  • TOR1(Early Slate)
  • DAL1(Main Slate)

NHL DFS Stacks of the Day

Goody's Stack

  • WSH: Strome-Ovechkin-Wilson-Carlson(Early Slate)
  • DAL: Duchene-Marchment-Seguin(Main Slate)

Chalk Stack

  • TOR: Matthews-Knies-Marner(Early Slate)
  • N/A (Main Slate)

Sneaky Stack

  • BOS: Poitras-Heninen-Geekie(Early Slate)Not as high on this line now with Geekie
  • SEA:   Gourde-Bjorkstrand-Tolvanen(Main Slate) I mean we have to back to them right?
