DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Lineup Picks (11/09/16): NBA DFS Advice

On the first night with a new president of the United States, the NBA hosts 11 games that will all hopefully follow up the historical moments of the day prior, with excitement of their own.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 11/09/16. The DFS lineup picks will range from some of the elite players to mid-priced options and value plays on DraftKings. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @vladewet.

Editor's Note: New users that sign up on FantasyAces, make a $20 deposit, and enter any game will receive our full season NBA (or NFL) Premium Pass for free (includes DFS Cheat Sheets). Just email [email protected] with your new FantasyAces username - and boom, that's it! We will email you with your Premium Pass.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Kyle Lowry – PG, TOR ($7,400)

Kyle Lowry's price seems way too cheap for the type of production he's capable of posting in daily fantasy. Lowry has posted two straight 40-plus performances and has tallied two or more steals in four straight. The spotlight in Toronto has been stolen by the consistently dominant showings of DeMar DeRozan, but Lowry has quietly contributed to the Raptors' 4-2 start.

The Raptors head to Oklahoma City for a premiere matchup against Russell Westbrook and the Thunder. This game should be high-scoring and fast-paced throughout, leading to a ton of healthy, bloated stat lines for DraftKings. While Lowry's price remains this low, he should be drafted every time he laces up.

Avery Bradley – SG, BOS ($6,500)

Avery Bradley has posted two straight double-doubles, three in his last four contests, and has complemented Isaiah Thomas very well in Boston's explosive backcourt. He is another talent attached to a very affordable price for his capability and recent production. Bradley was a consistent scorer last season, but his improvements in the rebounding and assisting parts of his game this season have made him an all around threat.

The Celtics visit the likely hostile Washington (one day after the election), where Boston could make even more noise in the nation's capital. The Wizards have been plainly bad this season, and will likely be exposed by Bradley and the Celtics.

J.J. Barea – PG/SG DAL ($6,700)

Barea has been a beast of late, posting 30-plus fantasy points in four of six contests this season. While the Dallas Mavericks have had a less than desirable start to the season, Barea has been a pleasant surprise for a team struggling to establish consistency and success. Deron Williams is also not traveling with the team and is set to miss his second straight contest, leaving Barea as the starting point guard.

We can expect the Mavericks to be playing catchup all night facing the Golden State Warriors. This will lead to plenty of shot attempts and assist possibilities from Barea. He's an affordable guard and should be drafted in all formats.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Carmelo Anthony – SF, NYK ($7,600)

The Knicks have struggled in the early going this season. Following an impressive win to the then undefeated Chicago Bulls, New York lost to the Utah Jazz in a game that they were leading throughout. Carmelo Anthony has been the one consistency of the Knicks, scoring 20 or more points in five straight games, and has really begun to donate stats to other areas. He has posted 40-plus fantasy points in two straight and is an affordable option against the Brooklyn Nets. The Nets are entering the second leg of a back-to-back, and got torched by Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns despite picking up the win Tuesday night.

Ersan Ilyasova – PF, PHI ($4,300)

Somebody needs to produce in Philadelphia. While Joel Embiid and Jahlil Okafor have taken control of the offense, Ilyasova has quietly contributed over the team's last three contests. He's affordable and has proved to be more than capable to put the ball in the hoop during his run with the Milwaukee Bucks and short stint with the Detroit Pistons. He is already averaging 10 more points in three games with the Sixers, after struggling with Oklahoma City earlier in the young season.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Tyler Zeller – C, BOS ($4,600)

With Al Horford set to miss another game, Tyler Zeller will be slotted into the starting center spot for the fourth straight contest. Zeller has performed better in the latter of his three-game stretch and is an underrated double-double threat. Jae Crowder will also be out of action, leaving Zeller and Amir Johnson alone in Boston's front court. Zeller will lose most of his fantasy appeal once Horford returns, so grab him while he's still relevant.

Enes Kanter – C, OKC ($5,100)

Kanter has played only 21 minutes in back-to-back contests, but has made the most of his split time with Steven Adams at the center position in Oklahoma City. Kanter has posted a double-double in two straight, putting up 40.5 and 38.0 fantasy points over his stretch of limited play. He has three double-doubles on the season and is a threat to continue his production in what should be a competitive contest against the Toronto Raptors.

Draymond Green – PF/C, GS ($7,900)

The production of Draymond Green has been overshadowed by the new addition, and immediate success, of Kevin Durant, and Stephen Curry's proclivity to make it rain from behind the arc. Draymond has not been scoring much this season, and still hasn't posted a showing of less than 35 fantasy points. He's been consistent and is capable of putting a positive dent in lineups without putting the ball in the basket. He recently posted a double-double with only four points (12 rebounds, 11 assists) and heads into a juicy matchup against the struggling Dallas Mavericks.
