Daily Fantasy Basketball: NBA DFS Picks for DraftKings, FanDuel (1/14/26)

Kawhi Leonard, Los Angeles Clippers

Free daily fantasy sports picks for today's slate NBA DFS slate on DraftKings and FanDuel. Use Jamie's NBA DFS lineup picks to building winning DFS lineups on January 14th, 2026.

The NBA rolls on with a seven-game Wednesday slate! Uncharacteristically, DraftKings has decided to include the super late games, giving it the same contest set as FanDuel. That's good for us, as it means we can utilize the Clippers and Knicks as potential late swap targets. New York is third in offensive efficiency, and the Clippers have now entered the top 10.

Keep an eye on the injury statuses for today, especially with the Clippers. Kawhi Leonard and Ivica Zubac are both listed as questionable, which could open up monstrous value in a premier matchup against the Wizards (who will be sitting Trae Young again with his "injuries").

This article will provide you with my daily fantasy basketball picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 1/14/26. Remember to monitor NBA injury news and our awesome NBA injuries report tool, as the slate can completely change before lineups lock at 7:00 p.m. ET on FanDuel and DraftKings. To keep up with all the latest developments and get access to updated projections, grab an NBA season pass and also gain access to our RotoBaller Premium Discord, where our experts are talking about the slate up until lineups lock!

NBA DFS Core Picks

Kawhi Leonard, LAC - SF on DK, SF/PF

  • DraftKings: $9,200
  • FanDuel: $9,800

Throughout the NFL season, I wrote extensively about Matthew Stafford's renaissance en route to a likely MVP season. While I don't think an MVP is in the cards, Leonard currently looks like he's drank from the Stafford Fountain of Youth. He's now played in 20 straight games and is averaging a career-high 28.1 PPG.

The Clippers are huge favorites in this game, but they've been riding the backs of their two stars (Leonard and James Harden) as they've launched themselves back into relevance. The Wizards rank fifth in pace and 29th in defensive efficiency, making Leonard one of the premier spend-up options and a sub-$10K price tag.

Leonard has entered the top five in usage rate, with a 32% mark.

NOTE: Leonard is currently listed as QUESTIONABLE for tonight.

Karl-Anthony Towns, NYK - C on DK, PF/C on FD

  • DraftKings: $8,700
  • FanDuel: $8,700

The Knicks are almost fully healthy with Josh Hart back in the fold, but that doesn't stop Karl-Anthony Towns from being one of the top per-dollar options of the evening. He's affordable on both sites, and the multi-positional eligibility gives him added value on this slate.

The Kings have been absolutely decimated by big men since Domantas Sabonis went down. They've allowed by far the most FPPG to opposing centers while also ranking dead last in rebounding rate. Towns has double-doubled in eight of his last 10 games, and he seems like a shoo-in to do it again.

NBA DFS GPP Pivots

James Harden, LAC - PG on DK, PG/SG on FD

  • DraftKings: $9,500
  • FanDuel: $9,300

The field is on Leonard, which means in GPPs, we're pivoting to his high-upside teammate for $300 more. Harden hasn't been the scoring fiend that Leonard has been, but his assist rate is over 40% over the last eight games, and he's also a top-10 usage player in the league (30.7%).

The Wizards have allowed the second-most FPPG and the second-highest assist rate to opposing guards, and Harden has averaged 48 DK PPG over the last five games. He could very easily surpass Harden in fantasy points, giving you easy leverage on the field.

NOTE: Leonard is listed as questionable, as is Zubac. If Leonard sits, Harden would become the premier play on the slate in both cash and GPP contests.

Nikola Vucevic, CHI - C

  • DraftKings: $8,100
  • FanDuel: $7,700

The field is going to be looking to the Bulls' values in this matchup against the Jazz (see White, Coby below), but it's Nikola Vucevic who has been consistently beating his value threshold on a nightly basis. His last four games on DK have been 41.5, 50, 48.2, and 51.2, and Utah is dead last in defensive efficiency by a wide margin.

With Josh Giddey out, Vucevic is sporting a 23.2% usage rate, 17.2% rebound rate, and 20.4% assist rate. He's a double-double machine, with an outside shot at a triple-double the way he's been distributing. The Jazz are the premier team to target in all formats.

NBA DFS Value Picks

Coby White, CHI - SG on DK, PG/SG on FD

  • DraftKings: $5,800
  • FanDuel: $6,500

Coby White sat out Tuesday's game against the Rockets for injury maintenance, and it looks as though he'll be a full go for the second leg of a back-to-back. It's a game against the Jazz, which is music to the ears of Bulls players. Utah ranks dead last in defensive efficiency and has allowed the highest catch-and-shoot percentage from the field.

Both these teams are top 10 in pace (Chicago third, Utah 10th), so White should only need about 25 minutes to far outstrip his price tag on both sites. He's one of the top per-dollar plays of the evening.

Collin Murray-Boyles, TOR - PF/C

  • DraftKings: $5,300
  • FanDuel: $5,800

Jakob Poeltl is set to miss another game for Toronto, and RJ Barrett has been ruled out as well. Collin Murray-Boyles has now started seven straight games in Poeltl's absence, and has nuked Sandro Mamukelashvili's minutes upside in the process.

The rookie PF/C has turned some heads lately, contributing on both ends of the court and flashing some major ceiling (he has 46.2 and 52.8-point DraftKings games in his last five). His price is not rising fast enough, and Indiana ranks 23rd in overall defensive efficiency.

Miles McBride, NYK - PG/SG

  • DraftKings: $4,700
  • FanDuel: $4,600

Miles McBride has a wide range of outcomes since he falls down the usage chart, but the minutes have not suffered in the least bit since Josh Hart came back (as it seemed they would). In the two games since Hart has returned, McBride has logged 35 and 39 minutes while launching 17 threes.

During a recent Knicks broadcast, radio broadcaster Tyler Murray mentioned that McBride "may be the best three-point shooter in the league right now" due to his catch-and-shoot percentage relative to his volume. That's high praise, and Sacramento has allowed the third-highest catch-and-shoot % while also ranking 23rd against opposing shooting guards.

Today's Top Game Stacks for NBA DFS

Jazz (+2.5) at Bulls (244.5 O/U)

This is the game to stack. The Jazz are on pace to be a historically bad defense, ranking in the bottom three in almost every relevant metric. The Bulls are a meh team as well, which explains the tight spread. Both teams rank in the top 10 in pace factor, and Chicago has allowed the highest at-rim frequency in the NBA.

Cavaliers (-1.5) at 76ers (237.5 O/U)

This one's a little more difficult to fully stack since you have to pay up for at least two studs. Both teams are coming into the game fairly healthy, so the best way to attack this game is by making multiple iterations. If you're limiting yourself to one, the guards have the better matchups. A Garland-Mitchell-Maxey stack with some creative value plays could yield high dividends.
