CS:GO DFS Picks

Best of 3 Series

  • MouseSports (-305) vs. GODSENT (+215)
  • NiP (-275) vs. Cloud9 (+195)
  • FaZe (-140) vs. MiBR (+105)

Captain Plays:

nawwk: NiP has one of the best chances at a sweep in tomorrow's slate and nawwk is looking to feast on a Cloud9 team who has basically revamped its entire roster. nawwk over the last month has a team-leading 1.14 K/D and gets about .69 kills per round while having a low .61 Deaths per round. In eight of his last nine maps, he has a positive K/D and grades out as one of the best plays on this NiP team that shouldn't see any issues with a Cloud9 team who has dropped their last six games. On DK, nawwk is only 8,600 which makes him a great look at captain and he is cheaper than REZ where some people might look at first.

ropz: The clear best player on Mousesports who are the biggest favorites on the slate. Ropz has been on a tear in recent months, holding a 1.21 match rating and a 1.24 K/D while also holding a very high .80 kill per round as well only having .65 deaths per round. 84% of his maps over the last three months have finished with him in a positive match rating and with Mousesports being such large odds expect Ropz to be a high owned option but also one of the best options on the slate! He is our most expensive captain spot but could pay off his tag in a bloodbath of a win.

Broky: FaZe has been up and down since the departure of NiKo last month but Broky has taken over as the team leader and he has done pretty well. In the last month, he has a 1.20 K/D with .78 kills per round and only .65 deaths per round as well. Broky has been a top 2 player on his team in 4 of his last 5 matches and he is going to be needed here against MiBR. I like Broky as a lower owned or tournament option as a lot of players are going to look at NiP or Mousesports for their captain spot. He is cheaper than the previously mentioned captain plays at 10,900 on FD and 9,400 on DK.

Other captain plays: Frozen, Rez, Plopski, Coldzera, kngv-

Value Plays:

chrisj: This is more of a Draft Kings play as ChrisJ is a bit more expensive on Fanduel but can still be used. Chris is the cheapest player for mousesports on DK at 5,200 and if Mousesports sweeps he will be a great play. He is priced as the worst player but in reality, ChrisJ usually hangs around the 3rd spot on the team which should be seen as good value especially at his price. He hangs around 1.04 K/D and gets about .69 Kills Per round and a mediocre .66 Deaths per round.

Trk: MiBR is going to look to try and upset FaZe which is completely possible and a possible leverage spot as MiBR are underdogs going into this. FaZe has struggled since the departure of NiKo and MiBR is going to look to take advantage of those recent struggles. Trk has been looking like a crucial player in recent games and even though they aren't winning some of these games they have taken every opponent they have lost to in recent months to a 3rd map. He is usually in the top 3 of his team and his price I really like especially on DK where he is only 5,800. He makes for a great one-off or if you want to stack MiBR, he helps you fit those higher-priced players that we are going to want. Trk has a 1.14 K/D and gets .75 kills per round and only .66 Deaths per round as well.

Hampus:  With how high the odds are for NiP, a sweep is more than likely. Meaning we need to find value and hampus is a crisp 9k on Fanduel. He is a player that sticks around even with his K/D but for value, we aren't looking for a player at the bottom of the basket that is going to go off for 100 hundred points. All we need him to do is go positive and help NiP get the sweep and we are golden for his price.

Other value plays:  rain, Plopski, Frozen(DK), vsm(FD)

Top Stacks/ Team Picks:

NiP looks to be the chalk stack of the day being one of our highest odds to win and they are playing a cloud9 team who can't seem to get things going in a direction dropping 9 of their last 10. Expect NiP to take advantage of this and make quick work of Cloud9. Nawwk has been one of the best players on the team in the last few games and would expect that trend to continue. Twist is the only player that has shown struggle even in wins, he is the only player on his team with a negative K/D at .90. Twist is the only player I'll be looking to fade on NiP as he has shown poor performance.

Mousesports: Mousesports is led by Ropz and Frozen and when they are hot, they lead their team to wins. In their last win against BIG, Ropz, and Frozen both had 70 kills and leading them to victory. They have had a bit of a hard slate of games recently, leading to a few losses but they get a more favorable matchup against the #23 ranked GODSENT, who other than an upset win on Heroic has been playing a lot of lower competition and losing against the higher competition which is what I expect out of mousesports today. The best stack is the get Ropz and Frozen set and stone and look to the likes of chrisj or bymas. But even just a 2 man stack could be viable for mousesports.

Other Top Stacks/ Teams: FaZe, MiBR
