Big Machine Hand Sanitizer 400: DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy NASCAR Lineup Picks

Happy 4th of July weekend ya heathens! We're in for a wild one, as we brace for the first time in history that we'll see F1, IndyCar, and NASCAR races all on the same weekend. While I'll be enjoying as much action as possible, my main goal is to get us set to bag on Sunday.

On Saturday, the Xfinity Series will go road coarse racing in Indy for the first time EVER. If you're playing Xfinity DFS on Saturday, you'll want to be sure to check out Justin Carter's Picks for the Pennzoil 150 at the Brickyard. It will be interesting to see how these guys handle the track, and of course, I'll be throwing up one of my "Gut Boi Specials" for the race.

The big news that rocked the NASCAR world this weekend was finding out that Jimmie Johnson has "The Rona" (literally the last thing you want to hear as a JJ fan in 2020). I hope that with all the negative hurdles he's had to jump in his retirement year, he'll consider a second try at a proper goodbye in 2021. NASCAR Xfinity Driver Justin Allgaier will be taking the wheel of the 48 on Sunday in place of Johnson.

DFS Lineup Picks - DraftKings, FanDuel

Bubba Wallace #43

(DraftKings $7,000 | FanDuel $7,000)

Bubba has been the centerpiece of the sport lately but hasn't made much noise on the track since Martinsville. In 2019, Wallace finished this race in P3 after starting in 15th, showing that he was able to pick up on the tracks flat corners. Wallace will start the race from P17 on Sunday.

Ryan Blaney #12

(DraftKings $9,400 | FanDuel $12,000 | DK SportsBook +1200)

Blaney wasn't able to close it out last weekend in Pocono, but he showed us that he could lead laps. When looking to Indianapolis, it's not uncommon to look at how things shake out in the Poconos when deciding who to play at The Brickyard. I look for Blaney and crew to take what they learned last weekend, and bounce back in a big way starting from P12.

Matt Kenseth #42

(DraftKings $7,900 | FanDuel $7,400)

My articles have been completely dry of Matt Kenseth talk since earlier in the season (about as dry as his sense of humor), but I'm breaking out the hose pipe to shower you with one of my favorite Mid-Tier plays this week. Before returning to NASCAR, Kenseth posted consistent Top 10's from 2013 to 2017 when running The Brickyard. Look for Matt to be a solid place differential play starting from P21 on Sunday.

Denny Hamlin #11

(DraftKings $10,100 | FanDuel $13,700 | DK SportsBook +500)

If the Pocono theory is true at IMS, Hamlin will be a go-to play on Sunday. To put it plain and simple, Hamlin is an absolute SAVAGE this season, and I dont see him slowing down on his quest for a championship. Hamlin starts from P6, and will be a top contender for the win at a track he's yet to check off the list.

Ryan Newman #6

(DraftKings $5,900 | FanDuel $7,300)

I am absolutely confused when it comes to Newman's pricing this weekend on DraftKings, and I'm taking full advantage of it. Since 2015 (excluding one race where he wrecked) Oscar Meyer man has been a king when it comes to working his way through the pack at IMS, and has a best finish of 3rd since 2017. Newman is no doubt this biggest value play of the slate.

Kevin Harvick #4

(DraftKings $11,000 | FanDuel $14,200 | DK SportsBook +400)

Harvick goes hand in hand with Hamlin as to why he's back in my pool this week. Aside from the excellent racing at Pocono, Harvick too the win in Indy last season, and led a total of 118 laps. With Christopher Bell and Chase Elliott being the closest drivers in his price range, I'll take the K-Harv Experience all day long.

Ryan Preece #37

(DraftKings $5,800 | FanDuel $5,500)

Preece has only one race under his belt at The Brickyard, but I'm loving him this weekend at this price starting one spot behing the most expensive driver on the slate (Christopher Bell). Last season, Preece started at this track in P21, and ended up gaining seven spots by the time the checkered flag waved. With him starting even further back this weekend in P36, I will for sure be playing him in more than a few lineups.

 Joey Logano #22

(DraftKings $9,200 | FanDuel $12,500 | DK SportsBook +700 )

It's been a while since we've seen Logano in Victory lane, and he has every opportunity to make it happen this Sunday starting the race from the pole. To add even more fire under the seat of his yellow rocket car, his boss man will most likely be expecting every Penske driver to be at their best being that he owns Indy now. Both Kyle Busch, and Harvick have won here starting from the pole position, and Joey is right there at their talent level.
