Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race: DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy NASCAR Lineup Picks

The hottest night race of the season is finally here as NASCAR heads to Bristol Motor Speedway for the Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race. I've seen tons of videos on Twitter over the weekend, and I'm low-key depressed that I couldn't attend this one myself. There is a lot on the line for this race as well with the first round of the NASCAR Playoffs coming to a close, so we should be in for some entertaining racing.

Currently, Matt DiBenedetto, Ryan Blaney, William Byron, and Cole Custer are on the hot seat, and it's going to take a lot of hustling for one of these guys to secure a dub. Each driver has the ability to make it happen, but of course, some have better odds than others. For more info on the NASCAR Playoffs, check out this video of AC Slater from Saved By The Bell hitting Bocce Ball in the yard (dumb af).

Brad Keselowski will kick things off on Saturday night from the pole position, and should be a big play for led laps on DraftKings. The Bristol pole-sitter averages 95 laps led, and even though Brad has what it takes, he will be followed by teammate Joey Logano who is hungry for action in a COVID-Era winless season (if you arent following that, he won two races before Rona invaded America). Remember, we have seen races at this track this year, so with the recent data, we have a better chance to get these bags!

DFS Lineup Picks - DraftKings, FanDuel

Brad Keselowski #2

(DraftKings $11,200 | FanDuel $13,200 | DK SportsBook +650 )

Slam Brad K's SZN is back (even though Miller Lite left the sport like cowards) after a dominating performance in Richmond. As I said in the opening paragraphs, the Bristol Pole Sitter averages 95 laps led at this track. Keselowski is more than capable of accomplishing this, and could even pull the sneak attack and get the win.

Chase Elliott #9

(DraftKings $10,700 | FanDuel $13,000 | DK SportsBook +600)

Elliott took down the All-Star Race earlier this season at Bristol, and came close in May until he and Joseph L decided to get flirty in the closing laps. Elliott won't have underglow to give him the added 5 MPH this go-round (If you dont get that joke you dont watch enough Garage Guys), but all jokes aside he is in a prime position to lead some laps starting P6. As long as Elliott can keep the sails straight, he will have every opportunity to land a Top 5 or better.

Kyle Busch #18

(DraftKings $10,400 | FanDuel $11,000 | DK SportsBook +550)

If we're at Bristol then I'm on my Busch'it no matter what year, date, or time it is. What really caught my attention this week is that the oddsmakers are finally believing that Kyle can get a win, setting him behind race favorite Denny Hamlin. Busch starts this race in P9, and is my favorite to get the win in the NASCAR Playoffs, and flip the script on 2020.

William Byron #24

(DraftKings $7,900 | FanDuel $8,800 | DK SportsBook +5000)

Byron is a long shot, but out of these four drivers on the hot seat, I feel that we are going to see a side of Willy B that will stick around for years to come. After his win at Daytona, you can see the fire in his eyes, and that's all a young driver needs with a seven-time champion Crew Cheif in Chad Knaus calling the shots. Byron should rack up some nice place differential starting in P15, and should finish inside the Top 10 with ease.

Chris Buescher #17

(DraftKings $6,000 | FanDuel $6,000)

Buescher is a great value play this week at his mirrored pice of six thousand on both DraftKings and FanDuel. Buescher dropped four spots at the finish back in May, but with his experience, I'm betting we see a different side this time around. Chris starts in P23, and I trust him the most compared to the other drivers priced closely around him.

Bubba Wallace #43

(DraftKings $6,800 | FanDuel $6,600)

Round 2 with Bubba came at us fast after last week's underwhelming performance. I'm not one to shy away after a burn (and it was minor considering he moved up four spots), so when I see Wallace starting in P27 at this price at Bristol I'm going to bite. To add confidence in this pick, Bubba started May's Food City 500 in P36, and finished inside the Top 10.

Clint Bowyer #14

(DraftKings $8,400 | FanDuel $10,700)

Bowyer has been, and probably always will be a low-key natural at Bristol, and should continue his successful trend on Saturday night. Even though Bowyer isn't one of my favorites to win, there is no arguing that he is a proven Top 10 driver at the last great coliseum. Since 2015, Bowyer has only finished two races at this track outside of the Top 10 (P31 in 2016 & P19 in 2017).

John Hunter Nemechek #38

(DraftKings $6,400 | FanDuel $5,500)

John Hunter is another price play that was mentioned in this week's NASCAR DFS Preview Show. Not only that, but Bristol has been kind to Nemechek in his one Cup Series start and Xfinity career. With his P31 start, there isn't much downside, and could be a difference-maker in GPP contests.
