Alexander Mattison is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for running backs. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 16 of the 2024 NFL season.
BALLER MOVE: Add in All Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 45% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: With Sincere McCormick (ankle) being placed on the injured reserve, Alexander Mattison should be expected to lead the Las Vegas backfield for the remainder of the season and should be added in all formats.
During the first nine games of the season, Mattison averaged a solid 10.6 PPR points per game operating as the 1A option in the backfield alongside Zamir White. However, once he began to see the vast majority of attempts, he was valuable asset in all leagues as he averaged 14.1 PPR points during Weeks 6 through 9.

However, he then sustained an ankle injury and was sidelined for three games. While out, rookie Sincere McCormick impressed and was able to claim the starting role in the process.
With McCormick now on the injured list, fantasy managers should expect Mattison to reclaim the No.1 spot on the depth chart. He has great matchups during Weeks 16 and 17 facing the Jacksonville Jaguars and New Orleans Saints who have allowed the third-most and ninth-most PPR points to opposing running backs respectively.
He should be added in all formats and is a viable high-floor RB2 this weekend.
