ANALYSIS: Blue Jays rookie Addison Barger is making his presence felt in Toronto over the last two weeks and making the most of the opportunity provided to him in what has become a lost season for the Jays.
Barger has been back up with Toronto since late July, and his bat has earned him consistent playing time for the first time this season after the Jays dealt third baseman Justin Turner to Seattle.
He had a 2-RBI double last night and has hit safely in six straight games he's started. He has nine RBI over that stretch and two home runs.

Barger has hit just .200 overall on the season, but in only 80 at-bats, He was a .260 hitter during his five seasons in the minor leagues and has some moderate power and speed.
Barger will likely play third base for the season's last two months but is eligible at shortstop and outfield. Managers in deep formats should consider him if they need some depth on their roster.
