DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks for 1/18/22 - Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice

CBB DFS lineup picks DraftKings NCAA daily college fantasy basketball

Mike Marteny offers his DraftKings daily fantasy college basketball sleepers for 1/18/22. His CBB DFS lineup picks and sleepers will help you win on DraftKings.

We've got a big Tuesday night with 12 games on tap. We tip off with several 7 pm Eastern games. We have Ole Miss hosting Missouri and South Carolina hosting Arkansas in the SEC. We have Maryland in the basketball version of the Big House in Ann Arbor. The Jayhawks head to Norman. North Carolina heads down to Miami. UConn welcomes in Butler. A half hour later we have Texas hosting Kansas State.

We finish off the night with a bunch of 9 pm tips. We have Tennessee heading down I-40 to take on Vandy. Iowa State heads to Lubbock. Wisconsin heads to Evanston. We have some more ACC flavor with Duke in Tallahassee and Syracuse hosting Clemson in the Carrier Dome. This is going to be fun!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 1/18/22 starting at 7 pm eastern. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Johnny Davis, Wisconsin ($9,300)

Davis has shot poorly from the floor over the last couple of games, but he still put up 61 DraftKings points. He cleared 40 in the previous four games before that. Davis has a high ceiling and a good floor. If that shooting stroke comes back tonight, look out! Northwestern is a solid team, but I still don't see anyone that can consistently guard Davis. He might be my favorite play on the slate.

JD Notae, Arkansas ($8,200)

Notae still scored well against Missouri and LSU, but they were able to limit him on the boards. Missouri lost by 44 points and LSU got him into foul trouble, so Notae only played 54 minutes in the two games. South Carolina should be able to keep it closer. So long as Notae stays out of foul trouble, this is a really good matchup for him. I like the potential here.

Charlie Moore, Miami ($7,800)

Those Miami guards continue to wreak havoc on the ACC. Leading the charge is Moore, who has piled up 160.5 DraftKings points in the four January games. It's not like those were against bad teams either. Miami beat Wake, Syracuse, Duke in Cameron Indoor, and lost in Tallahassee by one point. Moore is shooting a touch over 60% in January. Ride him until he cools off. Isaiah Wong will give you more consistency, but Moore has higher upside.

Andrew Jones, Texas ($5,800)

The Longhorns don't have a big star this year, but the whole team is consistent and plays well. Jones is on the latest heater, putting up 71.5 DraftKings points against two good teams in Oklahoma and Iowa State. K-State looks like a tournament team as well, but that's the Big 12(10) as a whole. Jones is taking good shots of late and making a defensive impact. He feels like a solid floor in the mid range tonight.

Javon Pickett, Missouri ($4,200)

The Tigers haven't always stayed competitive this year so I'm nervous about the true ceilings of Ole Miss players. Despite blowouts, Pickett has played at least 30 minutes in all but one game over the last six weeks. He is becoming a little more involved in the offense, which has put Pickett in double digits in each of the last four games. He doesn't do much other than score though, so he's not much more than a value play with a solid floor. You know I'm a sucker for big minutes on the cheap though.

Also consider: Ochai Agbaji, Kansas ($8,300); Markquis Nowell, Kansas State ($7,800); R.J. Cole, Connecticut ($7,300); Tyrese Hunter, Iowa State ($6,200); Andre Jackson, Connecticut ($5,700); Matt Murrell, Mississippi ($5,200); Tye Fagan, Mississippi ($3,900)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Paolo Banchero, Duke ($9,600)

Banchero stumbled a bit earlier in the season, but he has been a force in ACC play so far. Banchero has 196.5 DraftKings points in the five conference games so far. Duke was careful with the freshman phenom earlier in the year, especially when Duke got out to a comfortable lead. They need Banchero in these close games. He has responded by flirting with a double-double every night thanks to his skills on the glass and efficient shooting. Banchero certainly seems to be matchup proof. He hasn't been under 26 DraftKings points since the end of November.

Armando Bacot, North Carolina ($9,000)

Bacot has been an absolute terror for the last month. He has scored at least 40 DraftKings points in every game since December 18 and even cracked 60 once. Bacot hasn't shot under 62% in the span and has double digit rebounds in every game. I actually like him over Banchero here. Banchero may have a bit higher ceiling and the bigger name, but this is another fantastic matchup for Bacot.

Jaylin Williams, Arkansas ($7,000)

Williams has taken on a larger role in the new year so far, racking up 132.5 DraftKings points in the four games and topping 30 minutes in all but the blowout win over Missouri. Williams has double digit rebounds, eight steals, and four blocks in those four games along with about 10 points per. Williams provides a solid floor, but his upside isn't all that big since he's third in the offensive pecking order. His rebounding an defense make him a great floor guy though.

Adama Sanogo, Connecticut ($6,500)

Sanogo has 112 DraftKings points in just two January games so far. Injuries and inconsistency forced Sanogo into a larger role recently, but he's not going to give it up anytime soon. He wont get a ceiling game against Butler, but considering Sanogo has played 72 minutes in two games this month, I would expect Sanogo to play at least 30 minutes. At the level he's performing at, we might still get 30 DraftKings points out of him. That's a nice return at this price.

Tre Mitchell, Texas ($3,300)

The Longhorns have brought Mitchell along slowly since his return from COVID two games ago, but he was a big part of this bench back in November and December. He shook off some rust last week and broke double digits in DraftKings points while playing 13 minutes. I expect Texas to give him a few more minutes game by game until he gets back around 20. There's still risk involved here, but most have forgotten about Mitchell since he hasn't played more than 20 minutes in almost three weeks. He's working back up towards that mark.

Also consider: Nysier Brooks, Mississippi ($7,500); Tyler Wahl, Wisconsin ($7,300); Brady Manek, North Carolina ($6,600); Moussa Diabate, Michigan ($5,900); Jaemyn Brakefield, Mississippi ($5,000); Wildens Leveque, South Carolina ($4,600)
