NBA DFS Prop Picks for PrizePicks: Tuesday, January 18th

Karl-Anthony Towns - NBA DFS Lineup Picks, Daily Fantasy Basketball

John Brubaker presents his Fantasy Score NBA DFS prop picks on PrizePicks for Tuesday, January 18th. Use his NBA prop picks recommendations to win money on PrizePicks.

The 2021 NBA season is underway and that means our new friends over at PrizePicks have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.

Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best and easiest to win NBA DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score, which consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NBA, Single Stat consists of points, rebounds, assists, three-pointers made, and free throws made, in which you determine if the player in question will go over or under their projected total. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. Today, we will look at some single-stat scores for tonight, January 18th.

Featured Promo: Our friends at PrizePicks are hooking you up. Single Stat NBA Totals

Editor's Note: Prize Picks prop totals are not always available first thing in the morning, so check back during the day as other props may be added during the day.

Karl-Anthony Towns OVER 22.5 Points - I'll start tonight with Karl-Anthony Towns's points prop. Towns has been crushing this number for the majority of this season, hitting this in four of his last five, eight of his last ten, and at a 67% clip for the year. However, it's noteworthy that there's a reason for this number being so low. Towns and the Timberwolves take on the Knicks tonight, who rank 6th in center efficiency and allow -2.35 points under the league average to centers on a nightly basis. With all of this said, though, my early projections have KAT at 24.3 points and on a two-game slate, this value is too good to pass up.

Cade Cunningham OVER 4.5 Assists -  I'm a believer in Cade Cunningham, and I really like this prop tonight. While he's hit this number in just three of his last five, he's hit it in eight of ten and at a 58% clip on the season. The matchup with the Warriors is always a difficult one, especially now with Klay Thompson back. The Warriors are the best in the league in shooting guard efficiency but allow just -0.3 assists per game under average to the position. My early projections have Cade at 5.1 assists tonight, so I like this play regardless.

Hamidou Diallo OVER 5.0 Rebounds - We're getting some value on PrizePicks with this one here as most sportsbooks have this number at 5.5 right now. Diallo's been great for the Pistons of late, and he's hitting this number in four of five and eight of ten. The Warriors rank fifth in small forward efficiency but allow just -0.1 rebound per game below the league average to small forwards. My early projections have Diallo at 5.9 rebounds tonight, and if you're making multiple entries I'd include this in most if not all of them.

Other Recommendations - Kevon Looney OVER 6.5 Points, Anthony Edwards OVER 20.5 Points, Karl-Anthony Towns OVER 3.5 Assists, Isaiah Stewart OVER 7.5 Rebounds

Overall recommendation for this play: FLEX
