Jeff Wilson Jr. is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for running backs. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 14 of the 2021 NFL season.
BALLER MOVE: Add in All Leagues
ROSTERED IN: 36% of Leagues
ANALYSIS: Elijah Mitchell was injured in Week 13, and had been listed as questionable all week. Earlier today he was officially ruled out. Jeff Wilson Jr. has also been dealing with an injury all week long, and was listed as questionable throughout the week:
On Thursday Wilson was a full participant in practice, and is now expected to start in Week 14 versus the Cincinnati Bengals. JaMycal Hasty may be involved as well, but Wilson immediately gets catapulted in the low-end RB2 / FLEX discussion for fantasy football managers.
If Wilson is still available as a free agent on your league's waiver wire, be sure to go ahead and pick him up. The 49ers are a run-heavy offense, and it's conceivable that Mitchell may miss more than one week. At the very least, you will block your opponents from picking up a starting RB in the last week of the fantasy season. Wilson should see a healthy volume of touches, which is tough to come by this time of year on the waiver wire. Go ahead and add him, and feel free to start him is a solid option with upside for high-level fantasy production.
