DraftKings CBB DFS Lineup Picks for 11/17/21 - Daily Fantasy College Basketball Advice

CBB DFS lineup picks DraftKings NCAA daily college fantasy basketball

Mike Marteny offers his DraftKings daily fantasy college basketball sleepers for 11/17/21. His CBB DFS lineup picks and sleepers will help you win on DraftKings.

We have another strong slate of eight games for our Wednesday night. We lack the marquee matchups of last night, but there are still some intriguing ones on here. We start early with Boston College visiting Rhode Island. Michigan State heads to Indianapolis to take on Butler an hour later. St Joseph's welcomes in Drexel at the same time.

An hour after that, we get Oklahoma State hosting North Carolina State. This looks like a great one! Florida State welcomes in Tulane and Vanderbilt hosts Virginia Commonwealth then as well. A little after that, Indiana brings in St John's in another interesting matchup. We close off this early season extravaganza with UCLA hosting the Ospreys of North Florida. There's a lot of goodness on this slate!

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy college basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 11/17/21 starting at 6 pm Eastern. I’ll be providing multiple player suggestions for players at guard and forward, aiming to highlight one option apiece at the high, middle, and lower end of the salary scale. Good luck, RotoBallers.

DraftKings CBB DFS Guards

Johnny Juzang, UCLA ($8,000)

Juzang deserves a look just for the shot volume so far. He has taken 58 shots in three games! The Bruins are scoring a ton of points in the early going and that's not going to change anytime soon. They have a deep bench and the athletes to keep running the court and wearing people out. Their low mark in points was 86 against a good Villanova team. Juzang has netted 69 actual points on those 58 shots and is still grabbing his share of boards. His ceiling might be as high as anyone's even if the price isn't.

Jalen Cook, Tulane ($7,400)

The LSU transfer played sparingly for the Tigers last year, but he has provided a lot of juice for the Wave in the early going. Cook has 47 points in two games, but he is also grabbing a good number of rebounds and showing off his passing skills as well. Florida State is a tough matchup, but if he can keep up the peripherals, his floor is high enough to use him here. Cook has been efficient in his shooting so far. If he can keep that up, Tulane might hang around in this game and increase his upside.

Posh Alexander, St. John's ($6,400)

Alexander battled a wrist injury down the stretch last year and it clearly messed with his shot. There seems to be no ill effects this year. Alexander has made six of nine three-point shots so far and his passing is as good as ever. I don't feel that Indiana is the clearly superior team here. The Red Storm are going to hang around in this one, which can only help Alexander's fantasy prospects.

Dereon Seabron, North Carolina State ($6,200)

Seabron has been dominant for the Wolfpack so far. He is one rebound shy of three consecutive double-doubles to open the season. He is leading the Wolfpack in scoring and rebounding so far. That trend may not continue, but he should still be in for a strong game at Gallagher-Iba tonight.

Jaeden Zackery, Boston College ($5,400)

Zackery has had two strong games as the floor general for the Eagles since he struggled in the opener. Boston College could make some noise in the ACC this year. This is going to be a solid test against Rhode Island. Zackery is a cheap way to get exposure to the soaring Eagles right now.

Also consider: Scotty Pippen Jr., Vanderbilt ($8,500); Makai Ashton-Langford, Boston College ($7,600); Jordan Hall, St. Joseph's ($7,000); Jules Bernard, UCLA ($6,300); Xavier Johnson, Indiana ($5,200); Cameron Brown, St. Joseph's ($4,800)

DraftKings CBB DFS Forwards

Trayce Jackson-Davis, Indiana ($7,900)

Jackson-Davis has dominated for the Hoosiers over the first week of the season. He has 40 points, 21 rebounds, four assists, a steal, and ten blocks in 63 minutes of court time. TJD won't have quite the size advantage against St. John's, but even without the blocks he's putting up big numbers. Compared to the rest of the top options on this slate, TJD feels cheap for what he's capable of.

Malik Osborne, Florida State ($7,600)

Osborne has been the one filling most of the void left when Scottie Barnes left for the NBA. Osborne has been efficient from the field and a monster on the boards so far and was the Seminoles' best player in the loss to Florida. It should be easier going against Tulane, so I expect another strong game out of Osborne.

Ejike Obinna, St. Joseph's ($5,400)

Obinna played just 19 minutes in the win over Mount Saint Mary's, but he put up 16 points and 15 boards. Obinna should enjoy a decided size advantage against Drexel here too. The Hawks are still trying to find an identity on the young season, but Obinna has been a force thus far. At the very least, we should see Obinna play more minutes given his strong start to the season.

Marcus Bingham Jr., Michigan State ($4,600)

Bingham has played the least minutes of any Michigan State starter so far, but he has played very well when he's in there. He is ceding minutes to Marble, but right now it looks like a good decision. The price is low enough on both to use them for value and they are both putting up big numbers per minute. Sure, it takes up two roster slots, but you have have Bingham and Marble for a combined $7,900. That's a monster double-double when you combine them for that price tag.

Julius Marble II, Michigan State ($3,300)

Marble doesn't start, but he has played and produced off the bench so far. In 30 minutes of court time in to games, Marble has 18 points, 13 rebounds, and three blocks. There isn't a ton of value on this slate. A high energy guy like Marble who has produced well in his minutes so far is as good a value dart as any.

Also consider: Julian Champagnie, St. John's ($8,700); Taylor Funk, St. Joseph's ($7,800); Race Thompson, Indiana ($6,200); Hason Ward, Virginia Commonwealth ($5,600); Matthew Cleveland, Florida State ($4,800); Amari Williams, Drexel ($3,800)
