MLB DFS Prop Picks for Tuesday (10/27/20) - Monkey Knife Fight

Scott Cullen provides his MLB DFS prop picks for October 27th, 2020 on Monkey Knife Fight. Make your DFS picks with his fantasy baseball advice.

Game 6 of the World Series goes Tuesday night, with the Los Angeles Dodgers aiming to win their first World Series since 1988. That means more opportunities to play props and win with Monkey Knife Fight.

The teams have alternated wins throughout the series, with the Dodgers taking Game 5 by a 4-2 score on Sunday. The Rays offense has been led in the series by Kevin Kiermaier (.375 AVG, 1.162 OPS) and Randy Arozarena (.333 AVG, 1.121 OPS). The Rays bullpen has been excellent in the series but some of their top starters (Tyler Glasnow, Charlie Morton) have run into trouble against Los Angeles.

The Dodgers have been more dangerous offensively. As a team, they have a .859 OPS against Tampa Bay. Corey Seager (.471 AVG, 1.432 OPS), Justin Turner (.364 AVG, 1.209 OPS), and Max Muncy (.389 AVG, 1.133 OPS) are the bats making a difference in this series.

The Dodgers bullpen has been more suspect but the pitcher making an impact for them has been Clayton Kershaw, who has a 2.31 ERA, 0.86 WHIP, and 14 strikeouts in 11 2/3 IP.

Game Six has Tony Gonsolin on the mound for the Dodgers going against Blake Snell for the Rays. Gonsolin was effective during the regular season but has allowed eight earned runs in 7 2/3 innings in the playoffs. Snell has been solid, with a 3.33 ERA and 1.32 WHIP in the playoffs, but he does not go deep into games, ranging between four and 5 2/3 innings in his five postseason starts.

With the table set, here are some angles to keep in mind for Game 6 of the World Series on Monkey Knife Fight:

MORE OR LESS

Blake Snell LESS THAN 6.5 STRIKEOUTS

While Snell has not been going deep into games, he has recorded nine strikeouts twice in his five playoff starts. He has seven or more strikeouts in just three of 11 regular season starts and faces a Dodgers lineup that tends to make contact.

Corey Seager LESS THAN 1.5 TOTAL BASES

Seager has been outstanding in the playoffs but has multiple total bases in eight of 17 playoff games. Oddly enough, he has also hit home runs in seven different games. The issue, though, is that Seager hits better against right-handed pitching and gets the matchup against left-handed Snell in Game 6.

Mookie Betts LESS THAN 1.5 HITS + WALKS

Betts has done a nice job setting the table for the Dodgers and has a .372 on-base percentage in the postseason. In 17 playoff games, he has reached base multiple times in 11 games, but Betts struggled against left-handed pitchers this season.

Austin Meadows LESS THAN 1.5 TOTAL BASES

The Rays outfielder has been reeling. He’s just 2-for-22 (.091 AVG) in his past eight playoff games. It’s been a rough postseason for him overall, hitting .125 with a .410 OPS.

RAPID FIRE

Randy Arozarena +0.5 total bases vs. Brandon Lowe

Lowe has had a miserable postseason, hitting .123 with a .467 OPS, but he has hit five home runs, including three in the World Series. Arozarena has been the hottest hitter in baseball and is slugging .808 in the playoffs. Lowe does have the advantage of facing a right-handed pitcher but that’s not enough to balance the scales.

Cody Bellinger -0.5 total bases vs. A.J. Pollock

Pollock has struggled in the playoffs, particularly when it comes to hitting for extra bases. He is slugging .282 in the playoffs which doesn’t compare very well with Bellinger who is slugging .476 in the postseason.
