Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 500: DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy NASCAR Lineup Picks

With only two races left to go in the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series season, the drivers head back to Texas Motor Speedway for one last dosey doe. Austin Dillon was the victor at this track earlier in the year after some strategic pitting taking only two tires, but the gloves are off now and this is anyone's track. This race is also a 500-mile trek of left turns, which means collecting data from the O'Reilly Auto Parts 500 isn't the worst idea.

Kevin Harvick is taking the pole on Sunday and is the clear favorite to win this time. Not much could keep Harvick out of the playoffs at this point but that's not the case for others hoping to make it to the final four. Alex Bowman and Kurt Busch are on the hot seat, and Busch will have to Busch'It real good and scoop the win to get in at Phoenix.

Aside from racing, when you think Texas you think BIG. Chef Boi and I had an incredible weekend earlier in the year at this track with the help of Paul Wall, and Kenny Powers, but we cant recycle that type of energy. For this race, I'm turning to Texas legends ZZ Topp to lead us to victory, and it starts with their hit song "La Grange".

Kevin Harvick #4

(DraftKings $11,000 | FanDuel $14,000 | DK Sportsbook +230 - 2 Units)

Harvick is by far in the best position to slide into victories DM's this weekend starting in P1. For anyone to say he isn't would require knowledge of him throwing the race or the fact that they cut his gas line, and I'd probably track that person down to scoop all our expected winnings if that's the case (cause I got our backs fam). Look for Harvick to lead a ton of laps and most likely get the dub (AND HAMMER THE HELL OUT OF HIM AT THE SPORTSBOOK).

Chase Elliott #9

(DraftKings $10,500 | FanDuel $12,500 | DK Sportsbook +850 - 1 Unit)

I have been so pressed on Hamlin up until now, but I have a weird feeling that he's going to slide in either next week or by points. Elliott doesn't have the best record here by any means, but I think that the pressure is on, and he's finally ready to handle it. The bottom line is I had a dream that Elliott finished second at this track despite his not so great record, and for those of you that know me well know that I don't usually roll with Chase this hard (just trust the energy, and let's ride).

Brad Keselowski #2

(DraftKings $9,600 | FanDuel $11,000 | DK Sportsbook +1100 - .5 Units)

Keselowski has been a sneaky trickster this season in races where the heat is on, and this race is one of those "lighter to the tush" races for him. I don't think he will win, but his odds aren't bad for a guy that could slide into a winning position at the end. Kes finished 9th at this track earlier in the year, and he's a decent early lead challenger starting in P3.

Jimmie Johnson #48

(DraftKings $9,400 | FanDuel $9,800 | DK Sportsbook +5000 - .5 Units)

Johnson is my Wild Boi Best Bet this week and is one hell of a DFS play starting in P26. In his career, Texas has been one of his most dominant tracks with 22 Top 10's and seven wins. At best, look for 7-(8*) Time to get you some solid place differential points on Sunday.

Tyler Reddick #8

(DraftKings $7,900 | FanDuel $9,200)

Tyler "Red Dog" Reddick is one of me and Chef Boi's favorite plays this week starting in P17. Reddick finished second at this track earlier in the year with some killer strategy, and almost bagged the race. I see Tyler doing well again, and Chef has him locked in with a Top 10 finish.

Kurt Busch #1

(DraftKings $8,500 | FanDuel $10,500)

I'm back on my Busch'it again after a successful ROVAL call on ole Kurt, and it's partially because It's  "Do or Die SZN" for the man. Busch has a great record in Texas, and the car to make a great finish happen if he keeps the stress level low. I see a Top 10 finish for Busch this week, with the hopes of a Top 5.

Eric Jones #20

(DraftKings $8,900 | FanDuel $10,700)

That Jones boy finally got it done and will be rolling in the 43 Chevy next season with Richard Petty Motor Sports. Now that he can relax, I see Jones floating like a butterfly from P17 into the Top 10 this week, at a track he's been more than good at. He's never won at this track, but he's also never finished outside the Top 10 since 2017.

Ty Dillon #13

(DraftKings $5,800 | FanDuel $4,500)

The Dillon brother without clear plans for 2021 is the punt play of the week. Ty will be rolling off from P27, and should easily pay off his low salary by the end of the race. Despite his negative place differential at the last Texas running, I think he'll move forward this time around knowing that he needs to show he deserves a ride next season.
