New York Mets manager Luis Rojas was not ready to commit to Amed Rosario as his everyday shortstop going forward after Andres Gimenez started again Saturday versus Philadelphia and right-hander Spencer Howard. Rosario has slashed .229/.243/.349 through his first 31 games this season, and is yet to deliver a stolen base after compiling 24 and 19 in each of the last two years, respectively. The timeshare between Rosario and Gimenez makes neither a viable season-long option over the final three weeks with the position battle likely to carry into the off-season.--Jesse Borek
