KBO DFS Lineup Picks for 6/2/20 - DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball

John Gresen's KBO DFS lineup picks for contests on FanDuel and DraftKings on 6/2/20. Daily fantasy baseball analysis for pitchers, hitters and DFS stacks.

Welcome back, RotoBallers, to another KBO DFS pick column with yours truly! If you haven't been following me on Twitter @efhatch1990dfs, then you should start! I have been covering KBO since day one, and have been creating my own personal KBO DFS Cheat Sheets to help people win money, you will now be able to find those sheets here on Rotoballer with the ease of a click and that is why you won't be seeing my sheets included here anymore unless I make a custom sheet for a particular reason!

New to KBO? Don't worry, we got you covered! DraftKings and FanDuel will use the same scoring system that they do for MLB, however, the roster builds are much different on FanDuel. You must roster two infielders, two outfielders, and two utility players along with a pitcher for a total of only seven players on FanDuel.  DraftKings has kept its normal MLB structure with two starting pitchers and an entire eight-hitter lineup for a total of ten players. Building lineups on each site is going to be a good bit different on most nights.

Today, I'll be providing my KBO DFS lineup picks and analysis for this five-game slate on DraftKings and FanDuel that locks at 5:30 AM on Tuesday, June 2, 2020. You can check our daily KBO Betting Picks as well. Make sure you are also following me @efhatch1990dfs on Twitter, and good luck RotoBallers!

KBO DFS Pitchers

Hyun Hee Han KIW -195

$7.9K DraftKings

HHH as I will call him is going to be my top pitching play of the day, Hanwha has just been terrible this season falling to the last place in the league under SK at 7-17. He has already faced this team in his first start of the year and put up a serviceable 13.5 DK points not great but in cash games.

We can work with his floor and I don’t mind him as a GPP pitcher as HAN is striking out at 21% as a team against righties and only have a 7.3% walk rate and an ISO of only 0.098. HHH is sitting at a 15.6% strikeout rate right now and was at 19.5% for the season so we have a decent K upside play here that should have a safe floor. I’ll be using him in cash games and GPP.

Jae Hak Lee NCD -215

$8.7K DraftKings

Coming in as the biggest favorite on the slate at -215 I expect Lee to be chalky tonight and for good reason, SK as I hinted at earlier is second to last in the league only above HAN by one loss.

Lee has had a problem giving up the long ball in his career but SK is hitting righties with a 0.120 ISO second-worst in the KBO and is striking out at 19.1%. This will be the pitcher I pair with HHH in my cash games.

Ki Young Im -165

$7.3K DraftKings

This is the cheapest I will be going to tomorrow for a pitcher as I build two lineups one cash and one GPP. This is mostly a price play that should have a safe floor. Im is favored at -170 so he should get the win and Lotte has been struggling mightily against left handed pitching with just a .196 BA, 0.082 ISO, and 0.582 OPS.

He should be able to go through this struggling lineup with easy and eat some innings, LOT has not been striking out against lefties and walking a lot but Im’s 6.5% career and 3.5% season walk rates make it seem as though that shouldn’t be an issue tomorrow.

Other Options:

  • Min Ho Lee GPP salary saver he did pitch 5 ⅓ innings in his first start without allowing any earned runs.
  • Odrisamer Despaigne - Dart throws in GPP just because he’s been outstanding this season and Doosan has had off days.

KBO Top Hitter Stacks

LG Twins

The Twins have been destroying right-handed pitching this year with a lot of there best bats being lefties including the stud Roberto Ramos whose hit seven home runs against lefties already. With 0.875 OPS they lead the league and also have the highest ISO as well.

Giving up 12 home runs in only 119 career hits he does give up home runs which can be seen in his slate high 1.04 HR/9, this all bodes well for the power that this team has. Being this game has a lower total LG players may come in under-owned and I love them tonight.

Main Targets:

  • Roberto Ramos (make sure he’s in the lineup has a thigh issue or something)
  • Eun Sung Chae
  • Oh Ji Hwan
  • Hyun Soo Kim

Let the broken record begin…

Doosan Bears

The Bears are creeping ever closer to being favored in this game and has a 10.5 run game total. We might get Doosan players at a little less than the normal 40% ownership tomorrow and facing a hot pitcher in Despaigne, I like being on both sides of this if your multi entering on the chance Despaigne keeps up his current form.

They are on the road which is a huge bump to this team as their home park is the best pitchers’ park in the league and they hit a lot more dingers away from home. This is a case of an extremely good hitting team with great upside in any matchup when not home and I want to play them in cash and GPP with their ability to but balls in play and the power in the lineup.

Main Targets:

NC Dinos

Let’s not overthink this too much Dinos should be chalk tonight for multiple reasons. First, there the biggest favorites on the slate, second, they’ve hit 35 home runs this season already leading the league over LG by 11! Now, take that and add in Seung Won Moon who has given up over 20 home runs in the last three seasons and a career 1.48 HR/9.

I can see the Dinos running him off the mound tonight and then they’ll send out the bad bullpen arms, SK is sixth in the league with an ERA of 5.38 as a whole so if we can get the bad end of that it could produce for us. If you want to be less chalky use batters in the lower part of the order.

Main Targets:

  • Sung Bum Na
  • Eui Ji Yang
  • Jin Sung Kang
  • Park Suk Min
  • Aaron Altherr

Other Stacks

  • KT Wiz
  • Kia Tigers

Good luck in your DFS contests everyone. Be sure to stop back every day for some more KBO DFS analysis here at RotoBaller!
