DraftKings Daily Fantasy Basketball Picks (3/11/20): NBA DFS Lineups

Wednesday's DraftKings featured six-game slate boasts 12 teams on display and a few playoff implications here. The Miami Heat can clinch a playoff spot with a win on Wednesday with the Philadelphia 76ers are not too far behind. We see a potential four- and five-seed matchup with the Oklahoma City Thunder and Utah Jazz battling it out. Also, possibly the DFS game of the day, we have the New Orleans Pelicans and Sacramento Kings square off in the midst of a tight race for the eighth seed.

We have a couple teams on the second night of a back-to-back with both the Dallas Mavericks and New York Knicks suffering losses on Tuesday. Be mindful of some players who could sit such as Luka Doncic (wrist, thumb) and Kristaps Porzingis (rest).

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for DraftKings on 3/11/20. You can also check out today's FanDuel lineup picks. Remember to monitor injury news as the slate can completely change before lineup lock.

DraftKings DFS Guards

Jrue Holiday - PG/SG, NO @ SAC ($8,200)

Holiday has been masterful as of late, mainly due to contributing across the board on the stat sheet. Post All-Star break, Holiday is averaging 21.1 points on 51.4 percent shooting from the field and 40.4 percent shooting from three, while chipping in 8.6 assists, 5.8 rebounds, 2.6 threes, and 1.7 steals in 36.4 minutes per game. This comes out to an average of 46.0 fantasy points per game in the nine games since the All-Star break. The Sacramento Kings are the 24th-ranked defense against opposing guards this season and give up the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing shooting guards. With Holiday playing more off-ball, he should get plenty of opportunities here.

RJ Barrett - PG/SG, NY @ ATL ($5,500)

Barrett has had an up-and-down rookie season, struggling with his shooting percentages and turnovers. However, Barrett has now scored in double-digits in 10 of his past 11 games after missing eight games with an ankle injury. He is also doing enough across the board to contribute in fantasy, scoring at least 27.0 fantasy points in five of his past six games. The Knicks travel to Atlanta to face a forgiving Hawks defense on Wednesday. The Hawks just allowed Terry Rozier score a career-high 40 points and Devonte' Graham was not too far behind with 27 points of his own. In fact, Atlanta allows the most fantasy points per game to opposing shooting guards on the season. Barrett has a mouth-watering matchup here.

Bogdan Bogdanovic - SG/SF, SAC v. NO ($5,100)

Bogdanovic is still playing ahead of three-point champion Buddy Hield as Hield remains in head coach Luke Walton's doghouse. Bogdanovic and the Kings are home on Wednesday where he has higher shooting percentages from the field and the three-point line. The visitors, the New Orleans Pelicans, allow the second-most fantasy points to shooting guards this season. This includes the second-most field goals made, three-pointers made, steals and overall points made. This game should be one of the higher-scoring games on the night as well with a combined 235.0 projected total. As long as Hield continues to be limited, Bogdanovic should be productive in this one.

DraftKings DFS Forwards

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander - SG/SF, OKC v. UTA ($6,300)

Gilgeous-Alexander (hip) tweaked his hip Friday and missed Sunday's contest after being a game-time call. However, Gilgeous-Alexander practiced fully Tuesday and is "fully expected to play" on Wednesday, per reports. His price tag dropped dramatically due to the injury and there is a huge gap in options at the forward position. Gilgeous-Alexander had produced at least 29.0 fantasy points in nine of his past 10 games prior to the injury. Make sure to keep an eye on his status, but this is a huge discount for a player of Gilegous-Alexander's caliber.

Duncan Robinson - SG/SF, MIA v. CHA ($6,000)

Robinson broke quite a few records this week, breaking the record for most three-pointers in a season by an undrafted player as well as most threes by a player in their second season. He has quite a ways to go before breaking Stephen Curry's single-season three-pointers made records, but he is well on his way to break Miami's franchise record. Robinson has knocked down at least seven threes in three straight games and only Buddy Hield, James Harden and Damian Lillard have more threes made this season. The Heat are home on Wednesday where Duncan shoots 51.8 percent from the field and an astounding 51.4 percent from three-point range. The Charlotte Hornets allow the seventh-most threes made and eighth-best three-point percentage to opposing shooting guards on the season.

Derrick Jones Jr. - SF/PF, MIA v. CHA ($4,000)

With this slate being very top-heavy in terms of value, we need to look for a lower cost player at the forward position. Jimmy Butler (toe) suffered a toe injury on Sunday and did not go through Tuesday's practice. Per-36 minutes, Jones averages 12.7 points on 50.3 percent shooting, 6.2 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 1.0 blocks per game. If Butler sits, Jones will likely start and play 30+ minutes, giving him a boost in fantasy value. Another option would be Jae Crowder (concussion), priced at $4,500. Crowder is probable for Wednesday, coming off a one-game absence with a concussion, and was consistently logging minutes down the stretch of games before the injury.

DraftKings DFS Centers

Dewayne Dedmon - C, ATL v. NY ($4,700)

The center position is very limited in this slate with most of the value at the top of the price chart. As we look at a value play, Dedmon seems like he has shaken off his recent elbow injury and is back to regular minutes. The big man posted a solid 14 points, nine rebounds, two assists, two three-pointers and three blocks in 28 minutes his last game. This was good for a solid 33.75 fantasy points, his third straight game over 20 fantasy points. The New York Knicks are on the second night of a back-to-back, coming off a loss to the Washington Wizards. The Knicks have given up the seventh-most fantasy points and eighth-most overall points to opposing centers this season. Dedmon's price tag is still sub-5,000, making him a solid punt here.
