FanDuel DFS Pitchers

German Marquez: P, COL at ARI ($8,300)

Marquez is a viable option any time he's away from Coors Field, as he's got a strong 3.06 ERA on the road this year. Marquez's 2.79 Deserved Run Average is actually even better than his mark last year, and he's cut his walk rate down to just 5.3%. The Diamondbacks lineup has just a .313 wOBA this year against right-handed pitching, putting them as a below-average offense that Marquez should be able to handle on the road. Marquez is much cheaper than Sunday's high-end pitchers, but he's got just as much upside as any pitcher on the slate.

Trent Thornton: P, TOR vs BAL ($6,800)

Thornton is certainly a risky play - he's got a 5.18 ERA, after all - but he's got potential against a weak Orioles lineup. Baltimore's .299 wOBA versus righties ranks them in the bottom five in all of baseball, and Thornton's 4.60 FIP suggests that he hasn't pitched as poorly as his ERA would have you believe. Thornton has good strikeout numbers with 92 K's in 88 2/3 innings and could provide you value as one of the cheapest starters on the board. You'll be able to spend lots of payroll on hitters and still have the chance of a good outing out of your starting pitcher.

FanDuel DFS Infielders

Jose Abreu: 1B, CWS vs CHC ($3,500)

Abreu has caught fire in the last two weeks, where he's batted .333 with a .908 OPS. He's one of the best power options in all of fantasy with 20 homers, a .510 slugging percentage, and 65 RBI. Abreu continues to be underpriced for his abilities and is a perfect target in GPP contests for his feast-or-famine profile and upside for counting stats.

Jason Kipnis: 2B, CLE at CIN ($3,000)

It may be worth looking at value options at a weak second base position, and Kipnis could have a big day out of Cleveland's cleanup spot. He's in an extremely hitter-friendly park and faces a weak starter in Tyler Mahle, who has a 1.73 HR/9 and a 4.50 FIP. Whether it's as a standalone discount play or part of a Cleveland stack, Kipnis can come in handy at this price.

Josh Donaldson: 3B, ATL vs MIA ($3,300)

Donaldson has been raking against right-handed pitchers with a 125 wRC+ and 15 homers this season. The Braves are another lineup that should put up plenty of runs, as their home park has played as one of the league's best hitting environments. Donaldson will see RBI opportunities batting fourth against Marlins starter Trevor Richards, owner of a 5.05 SIERA.

Javier Baez: SS, CHC vs CWS ($4,100)

Baez is an elite asset to invest in as he faces Ivan Nova, who has an abysmal 5.92 ERA. Baez is putting together another phenomenal campaign with 22 homers and a .290 batting average, proving all of his pre-season doubters to be wrong. He could have a monster game in this matchup.

FanDuel DFS Outfielders

Khris Davis: OF, OAK at SEA ($3,500)

Davis remains at a suspiciously low price on FanDuel for one a guy with some of the best power numbers in the league over the last three-and-a-half years. He's Krushing left-handed pitching with a .274/.338/.692 line this season and will face a southpaw in the Mariners bulk starter.

Domingo Santana: OF, SEA vs. OAK ($3,600)

Many expected Santana to slow down from his pace at the beginning of the season, but it just hasn't happened. He's got incredible numbers over the last month, batting .330 with a .975 OPS and seven homers. Santana has been among the most valuable players in fantasy and yet is priced well below where that should put him. He should continue to mash against A's starter Daniel Mengden, who has a 4.67 ERA.
