FanDuel NBA DFS Lineup Picks (4/4/19): Daily Fantasy Basketball Advice

Only three games today which means this article will be on the shorter end. I'll go through each game quickly and run through some options you have to play and use the remaining five spots to go over some value picks. I almost said you didn't need to play Steph Curry tonight, but with the options available...that's a lie. You have to play him and you also need to play Tobias Harris, Khris Middleton, and Kevin Durant. While it may seem like a tough task, I've offered more than enough value to help you free up space to roster each.

The 76ers and Bucks are going to revolve around the superstars, if they play, but look for value in that contest. Middleton, Eric Bledsoe, and Brook Lopez are all safe picks, but with Pat Connaughton, Sterling Brown, and Tim Frazier all playing well, it's likely all three will have a fairly high ownership. I only trust Brown tonight, but if there's any indication Frazier could get the start, you need to play him. Willie Cauley-Stein, Cedi Osman, Collin Sexton, and Bogdan Bogdanovic are also decent mid-teir plays that should all produce without problem because of their specific matchup.

In this article, I will be providing you with my daily fantasy basketball lineup picks for FanDuel on 4/4/19. These DFS lineup picks can vary from higher-priced players and elite options to lower-priced players and value picks on FanDuel. You can also check out today's DraftKings lineup picks. Remember to check your lineups before tipoff for injury updates.

FanDuel DFS Guards

Sterling Brown - SG, MIL @ PHI (FD - $4,100)

I was contemplating a Tim Frazier plug-in here but it's not a safe bet with Eric Bledsoe in the rotation. This seems to happen to Tim Frazier often. As a more than capable backup point guard, he produces minimally in those situations. Yet once he gets the start and a full workload of minutes, it's like his entire demeanor changes and he just leaks stats. Until it's clear Frazier will be getting the start, you might as well pay up the few extra dollars and go with Sterling Brown.

Brown has been filling the stat sheet every chance he gets and although he's not the strongest shooter, he's shown that ability and you can still count on him getting to the rim and scoring from elsewhere. He's started the last four games and as long as that is the case he has upside and almost needs to be played for a price that low.

Reggie Bullock - SG, LAL vs GSW (FD - $3,800)

Almost the complete opposite of Sterling Brown, Reggie Bullock is a known shooter who hits with regularity and depends on his spacing to account for the rest of his production. Since the Lakers are Lake-ing it up right now and nothing really matters to them, look for Bullock's minutes to stay hovering around that 30-35 minute mark. The Lakers have no reason to bench him and truthfully he might be....IS the best shooter on that team right now. Yes, they are facing the Warriors but if there's one thing we've notices about Golden State this season is that they are NOT giving a worthwhile effort every night defensively. They might still be leading the league in blocks and have the defensive playmakers to make it hard for anyone, but in this game in particular, I except the three's to be flying from both sides.

FanDuel DFS Forwards

Nemanja Bjelica - SF, SAC vs CLE (FD - $3,700)

Even this late in the season you need to keep targeting the Cavaliers defense. They might not be the worst team in the league but they MIGHT be half-a-rung up on whoever that really bad team may be...

The Knicks. The Knicks are the worst team in the NBA.

Anyway, Nemanja Bjelica had a strong start to the season and has since fallen off fairly hard. With the Kings excelling, not much can be said about Bjelica and his impact on that winning culture. Since he is primarily a shooter, if he isn't hitting I have no problem saying he is borderline useless. He helps the rebounding of the Kings, but truthfully they don't need help in that department. While I expect Bjelica to have a big game against Cleveland tonight, I couldn't trust him in any other situation if I tried.

Mike Scott - PF, PHI vs MIL (FD - $3,500)

My favorite "thing" to happen this season is still Mike Scott sipping that woman's beer after jumping in the stands, but that's aside from the general point that you should play him tonight. The second best part about this pick is how Scott is listed as a PF, but clearly plays a small forward role with the 76ers. He can play a "bigger" role because of his strength and size, but Philadelphia doesn't need him to, giving him upside in situations where he's listed as a super-cheap PF. You don't need to spend up on anyone but Tobias Harris for that position, so Scott offers the perfect value to allow you to roster Harris and someone like Steph Curry or Klay Thompson.

FanDuel DFS Centers

Tristan Thompson - C, CLE @ SAC (FD - $5,400)

Even with his limited time back with the Cavaliers, Tristan Thompson is proving to be a fairly dependable option for DFS players. I did talk down on the Cavaliers earlier in the article, but that has nothing to do with how well Thompson should play against Sacramento. Yes, the Kings are a decent rebounding team because they have young, athletic players who hustle, but so does Thompson. With his size and experience, he should have no problem producing. I'm not expecting this to be a good game, but I do expect this to be a highly influential game in terms of cashing out in DFS, if you catch my drift.

Hint: Play Thompson.
