Dorial Green-Beckham Involvement In Titans Offense To Increase

Rookie wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham will be expected to play “more and more” according to Tennessee Titans general manager Ruston Webster. Marcus Mariota has impressed as quarterback, and Green-Beckham has been one of his favorite red zone targets.

The issue with Green-Beckham has been his limited playing time leading to very few targets. Green-Beckham has two touchdown catches on just five total targets this year, but that’s expected to change as the season progresses. Tennessee's brain trust has stated they’re aware that Green-Beckham is a difficult matchup for opponents, and they’ll look to exploit that with each passing week.

Green-Beckham’s pure talent along with the confidence from the organization to see his role become more significant places him among the best buy-low candidates for later in the season. The Titans have had more success passing the ball than rushing, so Mariota will continue to get enough throws to make Green-Beckham a fantasy relevant player soon enough. It will be interesting to see how Green-Beckham is utilized on Sunday vs. the Buffalo Bills following a bye week if the team truly wants to give him more opportunities.
