NBA DFS Lineup Picks & Sleepers: DraftKings Advice for 11/9

Brad Baird highlights 11/9's top NBA DFS lineup picks as well as a couple of sleepers to keep in mind while building your roster fantasy basketball roster on DraftKings.

All throughout the 2014-15 campaign, RotoBaller will be giving you the top NBA DFS lineup picks at the guard, forward and center positions as well as a couple of sleepers for the day.

Keep in mind, fantasy basketball is a fickle game when it comes to injured players, so be sure to check all lineups prior to tip-off.  If you want to chat about your roster picks, check out the DFS chat room at the bottom of this post. Here are our DFS lineup picks and sleepers for Sunday 11/9.

Editor’s Note: If you haven’t tried out DraftKings 1-day fantasy basketball leagues, RotoBaller offers the best bonuses around for these games. Sign up here and make a deposit for a new DraftKings account, and receive a 100% bonus on your deposit up to $200.

Top DFS Picks (Worth the Investment)

Kobe Bryant (LAL, SG) - $8,500

By Keith Allison from Kinston, USA (RO9A3336 Kobe_Bryant_Drives.jpg) [CC-BY-SA-3.0 (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0)], via Wikimedia CommonsThe Lakers are probably in for another long year, as they are lacking in talent and depth with their current roster. Kobe, as usual, feels like he needs to take matters into his own hands. While that is probably bad news in reality, fantasy owners should be salivating.

Last time out, Bryant played a season-high 44 minutes and attempted an insane 37 shots! No, that is not a misprint. He put up 39 points, 9 rebounds, an assist, a steal, a block and three treys.

The Lakers have not played a game in five days, so Bryant should be well rested. If he continues to dominate the ball to the same extent, the future hall of famer is going to put up some monstrous numbers, and will not stay at this price much longer. He should demolish the Bobcats in front of the home crowd at the Staples Center.

Serge Ibaka (OKC, PF) - $7,500

Oklahoma City has been ravaged by injuries in the early going this season, leaving them desperate for playmakers. Ibaka has stepped up, averaging 17.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, 1.3 blocks and a shocking 2.3 three-pointers per game. The addition of the three-point shot to his game has been a pleasant surprise for fantasy owners.

With the added responsibility on the offensive side of the ball, it seems that Ibaka's defense may be suffering a bit. His shot blocking (1.3 per game) is down significantly from typical standards, but owners should not worry. The swats will come in bunches, and when they do, Ibaka will put up some massive overall stat lines. That could happen as soon as Sunday, as he squares off against the Sacramento Kings and their weak interior defense.

Al Jefferson (CHA, C) - $8,600

Jefferson is the focal point of the Charlotte offense. He is coming off a fantastic performance against the Hawks, scoring 34 points on 15-24 shooting in a double-overtime victory. For good measure, he added nine rebounds, three assists, a steal and two blocks.

The matchup against the Lakers is excellent. They do not play much defense and struggle to slow down opposing big men. Look for Jefferson to have another dominant performance tonight in Los Angeles.

Best DFS Values (Sleepers)

Reggie Jackson (OKC, PG) - $6,000

Jackson’s price is a little higher than what would normally classify as a sleeper, but I will make the exception this time since he is such a great value. As mentioned with Ibaka, the Thunder are so injury-riddled that every healthy body has to log big minutes. Jackson, also like Ibaka, gets a plus matchup against the Kings.

Jackson always has the ball in his hands. His usage rate has been among the highest in the league this season while averaging an NBA leading 41.7 minutes per game.

Through his first three games, Jackson has posted averages of 19.3 points, 5.0 rebounds, 9.0 assists and 2.0 threes. At a cost this low, he is a no-brainer selection.

Draymond Green (GSW, PF) - $5,700

Green mostly came off the bench last season, and did a great job for Golden State. This year, with the injury to David Lee, Green has been given the chance to start and has ran with the opportunity. Lee came back for a game, but re-injured his hamstring and is now expected to be out at least another two weeks.

Green is a guy that can contribute in every category. Through five games, he is averaging 12.8 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists, 1.2 steals, 0.8 blocks and 1.6 threes. As long as David Lee is out, Green is a very strong play in daily leagues, especially at this price.
