Ray Davis Questionable With Hamstring Injury
Buffalo Bills running back Ray Davis (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's game against the New England Patriots. Davis wasn't on the injury report Wednesday, then popped up Thursday with the hamstring issue despite practicing in full. He has barely been involved in Buffalo's offense through three games, carrying the ball once for three yards. Davis also played just five offensive snaps against the Chargers last week. Ty Johnson returned for that game and immediately saw more work, logging 15 snaps behind James Cook. That makes Davis' status more important for Buffalo's depth than for fantasy lineups at the moment. If he can't go Sunday, Johnson would be the likeliest back to pick up the available reserve snaps behind Cook.

Kenneth Walker Poised To Bounce Back Against Raiders
Kansas City Chiefs running back Kenneth Walker had a decent fantasy performance in the 24-10 victory over the Miami Dolphins last week, but it was a down week by his lofty standards. After racking up over 175 scrimmage yards in each of the first two games, Walker finished Week 3 with just 70 rushing yards and three receiving yards. He was able to produce a good fantasy performance by scoring two touchdowns against Miami. Walker will have the opportunity to eclipse 100 rushing yards this week as the team travels to Las Vegas to face the Raiders. The Raiders defense has been a tough matchup for opposing offenses to begin the year, but the Chiefs are among the best offenses in the league. Walker has been one of the most proficient tackle-breakers this season, so he should be able to find success where others have not. The Chiefs also involve Walker as a pass catcher to create explosive plays in the screen game. Walker has multiple avenues to succeed and a high probability of finding the end zone any given week. Walker is ranked RB3 in our RotoBaller Week 4 PPR rankings, making him a top-end RB1 for fantasy.

Patrick Mahomes Off Injury Report, Ready For AFC West Matchup
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes will face the Las Vegas Raiders on the road in Week 4. Mahomes was again listed on the injury report with a knee injury but practiced fully every day and has since been removed. Mahomes is coming off a good performance in last week's 24-10 win over the Miami Dolphins. The veteran QB completed 20 of 24 pass attempts (83.3%) for 246 yards and two touchdowns. Mahomes also threw an interception, but it was largely the fault of his receiver, Rashee Rice, who fell and tipped the ball up for defenders to catch. The Dolphins did not put up much of a fight, so Mahomes basically cruised to victory. Things may not be so smooth for the Chiefs offense this Sunday against the Raiders. The Raiders defense has surprisingly been one of the better units to start the season, so Mahomes will have his work cut out for him. This weekend's matchup is also a divisional matchup between two undefeated teams, so expect both squads to be fired up on Sunday. Mahomes has been playing excellent football, and his play has vaulted him back into QB1 discussions. Mahomes is ranked QB3 in our RotoBaller Week 4 rankings, making him a must-start player at his position this week.

Terrance Ferguson Ruled Out for Week 4
Los Angeles Rams tight end Terrance Ferguson (ankle) has been ruled out for his team's Week 4 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, per Adam Grosbard of the Los Angeles Daily News. Ferguson had an encouraging game in Week 2 against the New York Giants, recording six catches for 54 yards and a touchdown on nine targets. However, the 23-year-old suffered an ankle injury early in Los Angeles' Week 3 loss to the Denver Broncos that will now keep him out through at least Week 4. The Rams are getting back star wide receiver Puka Nacua (groin) from the groin injury that sidelined him for the team's last two games, so their passing game will likely center around Nacua and wideout Davante Adams. Still, with Ferguson out and tight end Colby Parkinson (knee) questionable to play with a knee injury, Rams tight end Tyler Higbee could be a decent streamer option for fantasy managers in Week 4.

Christian Gonzalez Will Not Play in Week 4 Due to Shoulder Injury
New England Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez (shoulder) has been ruled out for his team's Week 4 matchup against the Buffalo Bills, per Ari Meirov of The 33rd Team. A second-team All-Pro in 2024 and a Pro Bowler in 2025, Gonzalez has gotten off to a strong start to the 2026 season with five passes defensed across his first three games played. His absence is a huge blow to the Patriots' secondary, which now looks significantly more vulnerable in a tough matchup against Bills quarterback Josh Allen. Puka Nacua Good to Go in Week 4, Snap Count Remains Uncertain
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua (groin) will play in his team's Week 4 matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles, per Sarah Barshop of ESPN. However, Barshop adds that Rams head coach Sean McVay said the team is "still working through" how it will navigate Nacua's snap count. Nacua has missed Los Angeles' last two games with a groin injury. While he returned to practice this week and appears to be getting closer to full health, it seems he will not play his usual full-time role in Week 4. The 25-year-old was ridiculously productive for the Rams in 2025, recording 129 catches for 1,715 yards and 10 touchdowns on 166 targets across 16 games. Even with potentially diminished usage, Nacua remains a must-start fantasy wide receiver as long as he's active. Still, fantasy managers may need to downgrade expectations for the star wideout's production against the Eagles on Sunday.

Justin Jefferson Ruled Out for Week 4
Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell said that wide receiver Justin Jefferson (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 4, per Alec Lewis of The Athletic. Jefferson suffered an ankle injury during Minnesota's Week 3 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that knocked him out of the game and prevented him from practicing in any capacity this week. Even while missing most of Week 3, the 27-year-old has recorded 13 catches for 179 yards and two touchdowns on a team-high 17 targets so far this season. With Jefferson sidelined, Vikings wide receiver Jordan Addison jumps up into borderline must-start territory, and veteran wideout Jauan Jennings becomes a semi-intriguing deep-league flex option. Minnesota tight end T.J. Hockenson could be a worthy tight end streamer for fantasy managers in a favorable matchup against Miami as well.

49ers Owner Jed York Suspended Six Games and Fined for Violating Conduct Policy
San Francisco 49ers principal owner Jed York has been suspended for six games and fined $500,000 for violating the NFL's Personal Conduct Policy, per Tom Pelissero of The Ringer. York was arrested in Ohio in August on suspicion of engaging in prostitution. The original charges were then amended to disorderly conduct and possessing criminal tools, to which York has since pleaded no contest. York took over as the owner, president, and CEO of the 49ers in 2009. Under his control, San Francisco has compiled a 150-129-1 record and made the playoffs eight times, including three Super Bowl appearances. Pelissero reports that York has "stayed away" from the 49ers' first three games, which count towards his suspension. He is first eligible to return to the team on October 20.

J.J. McCarthy Still Learning Giants' Offense, Could Be the QB3 in Week 4
New York Giants head coach John Harbaugh said that quarterback J.J. McCarthy spent "most of his time" this week learning New York's offense, and that the team is "still trying to figure out" whether he will be the Giants' QB2 or QB3, per ESPN's Jordan Raanan. With Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart (knee) out for the season, New York acquired McCarthy from the Minnesota Vikings on Monday. McCarthy could eventually take over as the starter for the Giants, but veteran Jameis Winston remains the QB1 in the short term. A former first-round pick, McCarthy threw for 1,632 yards, 10 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions across 10 starts with Minnesota in 2025. While the 23-year-old has struggled to this point in his NFL career, his mobility may make him a more natural replacement than Winston for Dart in the Giants' system. If McCarthy eventually takes over as the starter in New York, he could be worth starting in the right matchups in two-quarterback fantasy formats.

Keenan Allen Questionable to Play in Week 4 with Groin Injury
Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Keenan Allen (groin) is officially questionable to play in his team's Week 4 matchup against the Washington Commanders with a groin injury, per Nathan Brown of The Indianapolis Star. Allen is coming off his best game of the young season, recording six catches for 63 yards and a touchdown on nine targets in Week 3 against the Houston Texans. With Colts wide receiver Alec Pierce (heel) currently on Injured Reserve, a healthy Allen profiles as the team's WR2 alongside Josh Downs. Minnesota Vikings All-Pro wide receiver Justin Jefferson (ankle) left the team's Week 3 win over the Buccaneers with an ankle injury, and while the initial messaging after the game suggested he was close to returning to action, he has not practiced since and was absent again on Friday. With his Week 4 availability in serious question, fourth-year wide receiver Jordan Addison becomes a usable flex play after leading the team with 90 receiving yards and a touchdown in Jefferson's absence. While the Vikings are 10.5-point favorites over the Dolphins, the potentially lopsided matchup could significantly lower Addison's ceiling, even if serving in the primary pass-catching role. Miami has been the third-worst matchup for fantasy receivers, as they've offered little resistance on the ground.

Rachaad White Ruled Out for Week 4
After suffering a shoulder injury in the team's Week 3 win over the Seahawks, Washington Commanders running back Rachaad White (shoulder) failed to make a practice appearance this week and has now been ruled out for a Week 4 matchup with the Colts, to be played in London, England. White has handled the second-most carries on the team, behind Jacory Croskey-Merritt, and his absence could open the door to increased opportunity for sixth-round rookie Kaytron Allen. Quarterback Jayden Daniels (elbow) has already been ruled out for his second straight game, while wide receiver Terry McLaurin injured his hamstring during Friday's practice and is now listed as questionable. Against a suddenly undermanned Commanders offense, the Colts DST becomes an interesting streaming option in Week 4.

Bears Optimistic About D'Andre Swift's Week 4 Status
Following a physical Monday night win over the Eagles, Chicago Bears running back D'Andre Swift (knee) popped up on the Week 4 injury report, missing Thursday's practice with a knee issue. On Friday, head coach Ben Johnson told reporters that his lead running back is "still feeling the effects of a Monday night football game." Still, he offered optimism about Swift's Week 4 availability, sharing that he is expected to practice today. Swift has arguably been the Bears' best offensive player through three games, and he comes into the week as the fantasy RB6. Terry McLaurin Questionable After Injuring Hamstring at Practice
Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin (hamstring) suffered a hamstring injury during Friday's practice and is now questionable for the team's Week 4 matchup with the Colts in London, England, according to beat reporter Tashan Reed. McLaurin missed significant time in 2025 while dealing with a recurring quadriceps injury, but he has led the Commanders receiver room with a 77.6% snap participation through three weeks. If McLaurin is unable to play in what projects as a favorable matchup, veteran Stefon Diggs would see an obvious boost, but with quarterback Jayden Daniels (elbow) already ruled out for his second consecutive contest, it may be best to simply fade the Commanders offense as a whole.

Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams (hamstring) has been ruled out for Week 4's matchup against the New York Jets. Williams suffered a hamstring strain in Week 2's loss to the Minnesota Vikings and will now miss his second straight game. Mason Graham to Miss Time with Sprained MCL, Ankle
Cleveland Browns defensive tackle Mason Graham (knee/ankle) is expected to miss time due to a sprained MCL and ankle. Graham was tangled up on a run play in the second quarter and couldn't return in the 27-24 win over division rival Pittsburgh Steelers. In the first three games of the 2026 season, Graham had four sacks, 15 tackles, and six tackles for loss, all ranking near the top among defensive tackles. With Graham expected to miss a few weeks, Adin Huntington and Mike Hall Jr. will see increased snaps in his absence. Given Graham's strengths in the run game, fantasy managers should be more inclined to target the Browns' run defense in the coming weeks.

Xavier Legette Ruled Out for Week 4
Carolina Panthers wide receiver Xavier Legette (knee) has been ruled out for Week 4's matchup against the Detroit Lions. After missing all of practice this week, Legette will miss his second straight week due to the knee injury. In two games this season, he has caught two of six targets for 64 yards, playing 53% of snaps and running 61% of routes. Sam Darnold a Potential Streamer in Week 4
Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold is a potential streamer in Week 4 against a Los Angeles Chargers defense that has fallen short of expectations this season. The Chargers are allowing 244.7 passing yards per game to opposing quarterbacks. Darnold is fresh off a 379-yard outing in Washington and will return home with a need for a win. Darnold's chemistry with wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba is undeniable. He should find JSN early and often. Given the Chargers' defensive woes, Darnold has a chance to toss a couple of touchdown passes as well. While he may not carry a massive ceiling, Darnold certainly enters this week with a nice floor. If you are reeling with quarterback injuries or poor play, you can turn to Darnold this week. Darnold is readily available on waivers and generally not considered a starting option, so you should be able to grab him and plug him in immediately.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba a Clear WR1 in Week 4
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba is in another smash position in Week 4 against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chargers are middle of the pack, allowing 27.43 fantasy points per game to opposing wide receivers. However, JSN has not scored fewer than 26.2 fantasy points in a game this season. While he almost certainly cannot maintain his pace to reach 34 touchdowns this season, Smith-Njigba is seeing enough volume each week to push for 20-plus fantasy points. The Seahawks are also fresh off a bad loss to the Washington Commanders. The Chargers, on the other hand, are entering this matchup on a three-game losing streak. As such, Seattle should be able to take care of business in this game, but they will need to use the passing game to do so given that the running game has not gotten going quite yet. Fire up JSN with the utmost confidence this week.

Rashid Shaheed not a Viable Fantasy Option Right Now
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Rashid Shaheed (hip) can likely be left on waivers in Week 4 against the Los Angeles Chargers. Seattle's offense has yet to get Shaheed going, as he has now recorded just three targets in two of three games this season. Following a Week 2 win over the Arizona Cardinals, Shaheed seemed like he was trending towards a bigger role. However, Shaheed has recorded just six receptions on the season. For the first couple of weeks, Shaheed was a good wait-and-see prospect in fantasy. At this point, he is likely best left on waivers until Seattle's offense demonstrates that it will heavily use any wide receivers outside of Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Although the Chargers do not present a tough challenge as the No. 20 defense against opposing wide receivers in fantasy, Shaheed's lack of volume makes him difficult to trust until further notice.
