Joey Logano Wins Pole at Gateway With Blistering Lap

Joey Logano will lead the Cup Series field to the green flag at Gateway on Sunday for the Enjoy Illinois 300, as the Team Penske driver put down an absolutely blistering lap during qualifying on Saturday. Logano's lap of 32.817 seconds was nearly three-tenths better than anyone else in the session, and it has to give the No. 22 team plenty of confidence heading into the race itself--especially considering how fast the Ford was in practice, too. Logano ranked second-best in 30-lap average during that session, so it appears the No. 22 Ford not only has great short-run speed (qualifying) but also great long-run speed (practice). At $10.2K on DraftKings this weekend, Logano is an excellent DFS pick and a prime dominator to build around. --Jordan McAbee
