Mammoth Bring in Andrew Peeke on One-Year Deal

Defenseman Andrew Peeke has signed a one-year, $1 million contract with the Utah Mammoth. The 28-year-old will join his third NHL team. He skated with the Boston Bruins in 2025-26, recording 14 points (five goals, nine assists), 82 SOG, 135 blocks, and 105 hits in 77 appearances. In Utah, Peeke will compete for a third-pairing role and won't have significant fantasy value. He's a good source for blocks and hits but has never scored more than 17 points in a season. The Mammoth defense will continue to rely heavily on Mikhail Sergachev and MacKenzie Weegar next season.--Taavi Pailk
