Adam Scott Squandering Putts Heading to Connecticut
Adam Scott is not quite having the same season as last year. The golfer from Australia is still getting his fair share of results (two Top 5's). Shinnecock was an adventure for everyone as Scott missed the cut. However, the Memorial showed off his ability as he finished T-12. His drive and approach combined are still among the best on the PGA Tour at age 45. His two worst performances were at the PGA Championship and US Open where he lost more than a stroke on the average. The TPC at River Highlands is nowhere near as challenging but Scott putts a lot early in events (30.08 in Round 1 and 30 in Round 2). Wasted chances could keep him from being a betting option.
