Top 25 Fantasy Baseball Prospects to Stash (Redraft): Eric Cross' Rookie Rankings for Week 7

Max Clark - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Top Prospects for 2026

Eric Cross' top 25 fantasy baseball prospects to stash in redraft for Week 7 (2026). His updated MLB rookie rankings for prospect call-ups to make 2026 impacts.

What a few weeks it's been for prospect promotions. In the last week alone, we had four big prospect promotions in Bryce Eldridge, Robby Snelling, Spencer Jones, and Ryan Waldschmidt, all of whom carry varying levels of intrigue for fantasy leagues.

With them all up, the top of the stash rankings looks a bit different this week. But there are still plenty of exciting names to keep an eye on.

These prospect rankings are for 2026 redraft value only. These are MLB prospects who could potentially make a fantasy baseball impact in 2026 redraft leagues. You can also see our top fantasy baseball dynasty prospects rankings for longer-term outlooks and our 2026 fantasy baseball rankings dashboard for all other league formats.

Fantasy Baseball Prospect Rankings Analysis

Henry Bolte, Athletics

There's hot, red hot, on fire, and then whatever Henry Bolte is doing lately. In Bolte's last 16 games, he's racked up 36 hits (.480 AVG), six doubles, eight home runs, eight steals, 22 runs scored, and 18 RBI. And in these 16 games, he has 11 multi-hit games, four games with at least four hits, and two five-hit games, which came on back-to-back days last week.

Bolte is the hottest hitter on the planet right now, and this hot streak might force the Athletics' hand sooner rather than later. The problem is that there's no clear path for him at the moment. Carlos Cortes has cooled down a bit over the last week, but he's still hitting .355 in 103 plate appearances this season and .414 over his last 17 games. He's likely going to stick in the lineup against RHP.

The most likely path would be center field if the Athletics decide to pull the plug on Lawrence Butler and his .179/.278/.282 slash line as the starting center fielder. This is definitely a situation to monitor in the coming days and weeks.

Kade Anderson, Seattle Mariners

It didn't even take a full calendar year for Kade Anderson to go from a top-5 pick in the draft to arguably the top pitching prospect in baseball. In his first six starts for Double-A Arkansas, Anderson has recorded a pristine 0.60 ERA, a 0.67 WHIP, a 4.7% walk rate, and a 44.3% strikeout rate. Anderson's 39.6% K-BB rate is the third-best mark in the minors, and his 1.61 FIP is the second-lowest mark among pitchers with at least 20 innings.

It's not like the Mariners have a dire need for pitching at the moment, as they have one of the top rotations in baseball. But as we know, pitching injuries pop up all the time. In my eyes, it's not a matter of if Anderson gets called up this season, but when and how early. Honestly, I think Anderson could handle big league hitters today.

With Snelling now up with Miami, Anderson joins Thomas White as the top pitching prospects to stash in redraft leagues.

Colt Emerson, Seattle Mariners

After a slightly sluggish start to the season, Colt Emerson has been heating up of late. In nine games this month, Emerson is slashing .300/.341/.500 with a triple, two home runs, and a steal. For the season, he's now up to six home runs and eight steals in 33 games with a .254/.345/.468 slash line.

While Emerson's contact rates have ticked down a bit this season, that's not a major concern moving forward. I still expect him to provide a solid AVG and OBP long-term. Emerson has also started twice at third base this month, which is probably the most likely path to him getting regular playing time with the Mariners in the short term.

Walker Jenkins and EmManuel Rodriguez, Minnesota Twins

You might have noticed that Walker Jenkins and Emmanuel Rodriguez both moved down this week. Why? Well, both are hurt again. I know... surprise, surprise. Jenkins landed on the IL with a Grade-2 AC joint sprain after colliding with the outfield wall last weekend, and Rodriguez is dealing with a muscle strain in his left thumb.

Hopefully, neither injury will result in a prolonged absence, but both will delay the arrival of Jenkins and Rodriguez in Minnesota by a few weeks. Both outfield prospects have the talent to make fantasy impacts this season, but I don't believe we'll see them until closer to the All-Star break.

Edwin Arroyo, Cincinnati Reds

Edwin Arroyo is a name who could get the call to the majors within the next few weeks. After missing 2024 due to injury, Arroyo returned in 2025 to hit .284 with a .345 OBP, but those came with just three home runs and a dozen steals in 121 Double-A games. However, Arroyo has gotten off to a hot start in Triple-A this season and is now on the cusp of his major league debut.

In 38 games for Triple-A Louisville, Arroyo is slashing .338/.406/.573 with 19 extra-base hits, seven home runs, and five steals. He's already more than doubled his home run total from last season in 83 fewer games. On top of that, Arroyo has posted a solid 9.1% walk rate, 15.5% strikeout rate, 79.4% contact rate, 90.1 mph AVG EV, and a 42.4% hard-hit rate.

If Matt McLain doesn't get his rear end going at the plate, I could see Cincinnati giving Arroyo a shot in the coming weeks.
