Atlanta Braves catcher Sean Murphy (hip) was able to catch three innings of a simulated game on Wednesday without any issues. Murphy is currently with High-A Rome while he works his way back from right hip surgery. He has been sidelined since the beginning of Spring Training, but Murphy is now heading in the right direction. He'll likely need to work his way up to catching full games before he's activated from the 10-day Injured List. The expectation is that he'll start a rehab assignment soon and appears to be on track to return around late April or early May. Drake Baldwin should continue doing most of the catching while Murphy is out.--Andy Webb
