The Milwaukee Bucks waived guard Cam Thomas on Monday night, marking the second time this season that the 24-year-old has been cut by a team. On Feb. 5, Thomas was waived by the Brooklyn Nets, who drafted him in the first round in 2021. After the Bucks picked him up, Thomas started his career in Milwaukee with a bang, scoring 34 points in his second game with the team. However, he failed to establish a consistent role on the team and is now seeking another employer. Thomas will become an unrestricted free agent once he clears waivers. By waiving Thomas, Milwaukee was able to convert forward Pete Nance's contract from a two-way deal to a standard NBA contract.--Taavi Pailk
