Today's NBA Picks: Top Player Props, Odds & Best Bets (Thursday 2/19/26)

Cade Cunningham - Fantasy Basketball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

Get Keith Eyster's top NBA player props and expert picks for Thursday, 2/19/26. Uncover today's best value bets, model projections, and live odds to beat the books.

Welcome back to another edition of RotoBaller's NBA Props! We've made it through the All-Star Break and have 10 games on tap this evening to get things going once again.

Despite the week off, several teams are still dealing with significant injury situations. We have also reached the point in the season where rotations can be impacted by teams with motives that include things other than winning basketball games.

In this article, I will provide my favorite NBA player props picks for Thursday, February 19th. Prop picks can range from individual stats, such as points, assists, rebounds, three-pointers made, and defensive statistics, to combination props (Points + Rebounds + Assists = PRA). All odds and sportsbooks used are listed, but it's always a good idea to shop around, as odds change throughout the day as bets are placed. Alright, let's get to the picks already!

Today’s Best NBA Picks for Player Props

Let’s take a look at the top player props for today’s NBA slate:

Cade Cunningham over 30.5 Points + Rebounds (-110 BetMGM)

Pistons star Cade Cunningham is having another incredible season, averaging 25.3 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. Detroit will be down two big men tonight, with Jalen Duren and Isaiah Stewart both serving suspensions for their involvement in the brawl with Charlotte before the break.

Cunningham has seen a boost in both usage and rebound rate with those two off the floor this season. He's averaged 28.7 points and 6.7 rebounds per-36 minutes in his time with the two big men off the court.

Detroit draws a tough matchup against New York this evening, but Cunningham is more than capable of stepping up and shouldering the load. This line is set around his season averages, but there is significantly more upside for Cunningham considering the absences of Duren and Stewart.

Desmond Bane over 20.5 Points (-118 BetMGM), (-118 NOVIG)

Orlando wing Desmond Bane is averaging 19.6 points per game this season, but that is skewed by a slow start to the season with his new team. He averaged just 14.2 points per game on 43.1% shooting in his first 10 games of the season. Since then, Bane has averaged 20.9 points on 47.9% shooting, and it's been even better in his most recent games. Across his last 10 games, Bane has averaged 22.7 points on 56.3% shooting.

Tonight, Franz Wagner will be out of the lineup again, and Bane has averaged 22.2 points per-36 minutes with Wagner off the floor this season. Orlando also gets a matchup against a Sacramento team that is in full-on tank mode, and they have already ruled out four key rotation members for the game.

Top NBA Value Picks and Sleeper Props

Betting on superstars is always exciting, but the best value often lies in the margins of a roster. Role players and emerging contributors can offer hidden edges, especially as the season wears on and injuries start to shake up rotations. We don't want to wager only on superstars; it's often the role players and less-known players who may offer us the best markets.

Let’s dive into some of the top value plays for today’s NBA slate.

Tari Eason over 17.5 Points + Rebounds (-128 DraftKings)

Eason has played a significant role for the Rockets this season when he's been healthy. Overall, he's averaging 12.2 points and 6.1 rebounds per game, and that role has only grown since Steven Adams went down with an injury. Since Eason moved back into the starting lineup after an injury of his own, he's played over 30 minutes per game while averaging 13.5 points and 6.1 rebounds.

Charlotte has been a tough matchup of late, but they will be missing two starters in this one thanks to their brawl with Detroit before the break.

Jarace Walker over 25.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-118 DraftKings), (-125 NOVIG)

Indiana has already ruled out Pascal Siakam and Ivica Zubac on Thursday, Johnny Furphy is out for the season, and Aaron Nesmith and Micah Potter are listed as questionable. The tanking Pacers are extremely thin in the frontcourt for this game, which should again lead to big minutes for Walker.

In the team's last game with a similar situation, Walker played 32 minutes and dropped 23 points, five rebounds, and three assists. Nesmith did not play in that game, but even if he can suit up for this one, Walker should still have a starting role with a path to 30+ minutes.

Additionally, the matchup is as good as it gets tonight. Washington is down its top rim protector, Alexandre Sarr, and already struggles mightily on the defensive end. The Wizards rank 29th in defensive efficiency this season, while allowing the second-most points, the most rebounds, and the second-most assists in the league.

Nolan Traore over 15.5 Points + Assists (-112 Bet365)

Brooklyn guard Nolan Traore saw a massive role bump leading into the All-Star break. Sure, Michael Porter Jr. missed a couple of games, but the massive change in role coincided with the removal of Cam Thomas from the roster. Brooklyn has clearly embraced a youth movement that includes getting a long look at Traore, and he's responded with incredible production.

Over his last four games, the rookie has averaged 17.3 points and 8.0 assists. Porter played in two of those games, while Nicolas Claxton played in three. Porter is back tonight, but Claxton is out again.

Brooklyn is a massive underdog against a Cleveland team that might be at full strength for the first time since their acquisition of James Harden, but there could certainly be some chemistry issues in their first game with Evan Mobley back. Even if Cleveland cruises to an easy victory as oddsmakers suspect, Traore played nearly 38 minutes in a 20-point loss to Orlando before the break (with Porter and Claxton active).
