Falcons Agree to Three-Year Deal With Defensive Coordinator Jeff Ulbrich
The Atlanta Falcons agreed to terms on a new, undisclosed three-year deal with defensive coordinator Jeff Ulbrich on Monday, sources told Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network. It's the first staff addition for new head coach Kevin Stefanski in Atlanta. The Falcons' pass rush was one of the worst in the league in 2024, but under Ulbrich in 2025, they set a franchise record with 57 sacks. The Falcons also finished 15th in yards allowed and 19th in points allowed in Ulbrich's first season with the organization. Atlanta denied a request from the Dallas Cowboys earlier this month to interview Ulbrich for their DC opening. The former interim head coach for the New York Jets will stick around for three more years for the start of Stefanski's tenure in Atlanta. The continuity with Ulbrich is good news as the Falcons' defense looks to maintain their gains from 2025.
