No. 32 - Vancouver Canucks
Last Week Ranking - 31
The Canucks continued to stumble this past week and remain at the bottom of our power rankings. This week, the Canucks played in three games and saw similar results in all three, a regulation loss. On Tuesday, they fell to the Sabres, then lost to the Red Wings and Maple Leafs.
Over their last 10, they carry a rough 2-6-3 record. To make matters worse, No. 1 netminder Thatcher Demko exited Saturday's contest with a lower-body injury and was shifted to the IR on Sunday.
No. 31 - Winnipeg Jets
Last Week Ranking - 32
The Jets dropped all four games last week and were unable to snap their skid early in Week 14. They began with a 4-3 overtime loss to the Knights on Tuesday and then fell 4-3 to the Oilers in regulation on Thursday. However, on Friday, they took down the Kings and stayed hot on Sunday, defeating the Devils to get back on track.
Despite sitting in the basement of the standings, Kyle Connor carries a five-game, seven-point streak into Tuesday's contest against the New York Islanders.
No. 30- St. Louis Blues
Last Week Ranking - 28
The Blues ended Week 13 on a two-game win streak that saw them take down two top teams, the Golden Knights and the Canadiens. However, their fortunes were shifted in Week 14. The Blues would drop all three of their games in regulation.
It began with a tough 7-3 loss to the Blackhawks on Wednesday. Later in the week, the Blues would fall to the Mammoth (4-2) and the Golden Knights (4-2). Since December 11 (seven games), Jordan Binnington has posted a 1-5-1 record and held a modest 4.19 GAA with an .861% SV%.
No. 29 - Columbus Blue Jackets
Last Week Ranking - 27
The Blues Jackets had a rough showing this week and sit at the bottom of the Eastern Conference. In Week 14, they had a rough go on their Weather trip, falling to the Sharks (5-2), Golden Knights (6-3), and the Avalanche (4-0). They then traveled to Utah on Sunday and were able to sneak out with a 3-2 overtime victory.
Entering the new week, they remain in lockstep with the Senators for the lowest points in the Eastern Conference (45). Their -18 goal difference places them behind only the Devils in the East.
No. 28 - Anaheim Ducks
Last Week Ranking - 17
The Ducks continued to slump and took another deep dive in our rankings. This week, the young Anaheim club was unable to break out of its skid, as it dropped all four of its games in regulation. During these four contests, the Ducks scored just 11 goals and allowed a hefty 22.
The Ducks have won just one contest over their last 10 and dropped eight in regulation. In his last seven outings, netminder Lukas Dostal has posted a 0-4-1 record with a high 4.60 GAA.
No. 27 - Chicago Blackhawks
Last Week Ranking - 30
The Blackhawks took a jump in our rankings last week and stayed hot in Week 14. On Wednesday, they extended their point streak by taking down the Blues, demanding a 7-3 score. While their streak was snapped by the Capitals on Friday night (5-1), they kick-started another winning streak, defeating the Predators (3-0) on Saturday.
This week, Nick Lardis and Oliver Moore both led the scoring department, netting two goals and adding one helper each across these three games.

No. 26 - Calgary Flames
Last Week Ranking - 26
The Flames had a busy four-game slate. Unfortunately, they did not get off to their most productive start, dropping each of their first three games in regulation to the Kraken, Canadians, and Bruins. However, on Saturday afternoon, they would march into Pittsburgh and snap the Penguins' six-game winning streak with a commanding 2-1 victory.
After a bit of a rough week, they now sit with a 5-5 record over their last 10. They enter Week 15 with a 19-22-4 record and remain near the top of this bottom tier on our rankings.
No. 25 - Ottawa Senators
Last Week Ranking - 16
Following a 2-1 showing last week, the Senators were hit with some regression in Week 14, dropping all four contests in regulation. They fell to two division rivals, the Red Wings and Panthers, as well as two Western clubs, the Avalanche and the Mammoth.
The Senators have now won just three of their last 10 games and are trending in the wrong direction in the crowded Eastern Conference. The team's new lead netminder, Leevi Merilainen, has won just two of his last eight appearances and holds a mediocre 3.59 GAA.
No. 24 - New Jersey Devils
Last Week Ranking - 21
The Devils saw their slide continue in Week 14 and fall once again in our rankings. Following a loss to the Hurricanes last Sunday, the Devils would drop all three games this week in regulation to the Islanders, Penguins, and Jets. Their loss to the Islanders on Tuesday was one of the worst of the season, as they fell 9-0 to their division rival.
They carry a rough 2-7-1 record over their last 10 and sit at 22-21-2. While they have the talent on the roster to snap this skid, they are not showing any signs of life.
No. 23 - New York Rangers
Last Week Ranking - 18
While the Rangers were flying high into Week 14 following a 5-1 victory in the Winter Classic, they were hit by two massive injuries that may have potentially derailed this club. They put top defender, Adam Fox (lower body), on long-term injured reserve and superstar goaltender Igor Shesterkin (lower body) on injured reserve.
They were unable to find much success this week, picking up just one point over three games, which came in their overtime loss to the Mammoth. Their weekend ended on Saturday with an embarrassing 10-2 loss to the Bruins.
No. 22 - Nashville Predators
Last Week Ranking - 22
The Predators saw their win-loss-win-loss pattern continue in Week 14. On Tuesday, they fell to the Oilers (6-2) but rebounded well, taking down the Islanders (2-1) in a shootout. However, they then fell to the Blackhawks on Saturday (3-0) but once again bounced back on Sunday, taking down the Capitals (3-2).
They hold a modest 6-4 record over their last 10 and have shown signs of improvement following their rough start, and remain just two points out of the second Wild Card in the Western Conference.
No. 21 - Utah Mammoth
Last Week Ranking - 29
The Mammoth have had a lengthy streak of inconsistent play and appeared to have broken out of their slump in Week 14. The Mammoth began the week with a 3-2 overtime victory over the Ranges at MSG and carried this momentum into their victories over the Senators and the Blues.
On Sunday, they took an overtime loss to the slumping Blue Jackets on their home ice. This productive week brought them to 48 points, tying them with the Los Angeles Kings for the final Wild Card in the Western Conference. Clayton Keller enjoyed a busy week on the statsheet, tallying an eye-catching seven helpers.
No. 20 -Los Angeles Kings
Last Week Ranking - 25

In Week 14, the Kings picked up 5 of their 8 possible points and dropped only one game in regulation. Their lone regulation loss came on Friday against the Jets, while they took down the Wild and Oilers (loss to the Sharks in overtime).
Over their last 10, they carry an improved 4-5-1 record and now sit at 19-15-10. They have seen their scoring increase, which has played a major role in their recent surge. Since the start of the New Year (six games), Kevin Fiala has found the back of the net three times and added three assists.
No. 19 - San Jose Sharks
Last Week Ranking - 23
After several weeks of inconsistent play, the Sharks enjoyed a strong showing in Week 14, which gave them a much-needed boost to hold their footing in the playoff picture. Following a tough loss last Saturday to the Lightning, the Sharks would pick up three-straight victories to open the week.
They took down the Blue Jackets on Tuesday, and then the Kings and Stars in overtime. On Sunday, they saw their win streak snapped by the Golden Knights, who enjoyed a massive bounce-back week (more on them later). The Sharks have picked up six wins over their last 10 and will enter Week 15 in third place in the Pacific Division.
No. 18 - Seattle Kraken
Last Week Ranking - 24
The Kraken stayed hot in Week 14 and continued to lead in the Pacific Division. After finishing last week on a two-game winning streak, they continued to roll this week, picking up five of their eight points. They began the week with two regulation wins against the Flames and Bruins before falling to the Wild (in overtime) and the Hurricanes (in regulation).
Following their skid in December, the Kraken now enter Week 15 with a strong 7-1-2 record over their last 10. Center Matty Beniers led the way this week, scoring three goals and tallying two assists.
No. 17 - Florida Panthers
Last Week Ranking - 9
The Panthers capped off last week with one of the most impressive victories of the season, defeating the Avalanche 2-1. However, in Week 14, the Panthers were unable to ride that momentum, as they fell to the Leafs (4-1) on Tuesday and to the Canadiens (6-2) on Thursday. On Saturday, they finally got back in the win column, taking down the Senators by a 3-2 score.
Sam Bennett has continued to be a reliable sparkplug on the offense, netting at least one point in 10 of his last 12 contests. During this stretch, he has totaled 12 points with six of them being goals.
No. 16 - Pittsburgh Penguins
Last Week Ranking - 15
The Penguins pushed their winning streak to six games on Thursday night when they took down the Devils (4-1). In this game, Evgeni Malkin made his return from injury and would find the back of the net.
However, on the weekend, their fortunes flipped as they fell to the Flames and Bruins in regulation. Despite the brief slump, the Penguins have picked up a victory in seven of the last 10 and remain in the heart of the postseason picture.
No. 15 - Boston Bruins
Last Week Ranking - 20
Boston entered the week riding a two-game winning streak. While they fell to the red-hot Kraken on Tuesday night, they rebounded very well, picking up all six points over the final three games. On Thursday, they knocked down the Flames (4-1) but saved their most dominant showing for Saturday.
On Saturday, they defeated the Bruins by an incredible 10-2 score and then proceeded to shut out the Penguins (1-0) on Sunday. David Pastrnak would tally six assists in their victory over the Rangers and has now earned 14 points over his last six games.
No. 14 - Washington Capitals
Last Week Ranking - 13
Following an inconsistent four-game slate last week, the Capitals had similar results in Week 14, turning in a 2-2 showing. They began the week with a demanding 7-4 victory over Anaheim, but then fell to the Stars on Wednesday. While they bounced back on Friday, defeating the Blackhawks 5-1, they took a regulation loss to the Predators on Sunday night.
The legendary Alex Ovechkin kept the offense afloat this week as he found the back of the net five times and tacked on an additional assist. His goal on Sunday put him in the 20-goal club this season as he continues to build his Hall of Fame resume.
No. 13 - Toronto Maple Leafs
Last Week Ranking - 19
Here comes the Leafs, after an inconsistent first half. The Leafs have strung together two very productive weeks of play and are now sitting just outside the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference. In Week 14, the Leafs took care of business, picking up victories in all three games, including over two Eastern clubs, the Panthers and Flyers.
Over his last seven games, goaltender Joseph Woll has led the way, picking up five victories with a 2.62 GAA and a .915% SV%. The Leafs carry a 7-1-2 record over their 10 and will look to stay hot with an opening Week 15 matchup against the high-powered Avalanche.

Their final game of the weekend ended in a shootout loss to the Kings.
