Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert (left hand) had a plate and multiple screws put in his hand in surgery. Herbert suffered a broken left hand in Week 13's win over the Las Vegas Raiders and underwent surgery on Monday, and reports say that it was successful. Herbert reiterated on Wednesday that the plan is to play in Week 14 when the Chargers host the Philadelphia Eagles. The star quarterback has been excellent in 2025, currently averaging 19.1 fantasy points per game, which ranks as the QB8. The Chargers are fighting for a playoff spot and will need to finish strong to fend off the likes of the Chiefs, Bills, and other teams. Fantasy managers should prepare as if Herbert will be able to play in Week 14. UPDATE: Herbert says he's day-to-day, and his status for Monday depends on the swelling in his surgically-repaired left hand.--Nathan Harvey
