Trey Smith Expected to Play in Week 9
Kansas City Chiefs right guard Trey Smith (back) is expected to play in Sunday's Week 9 contest against the Buffalo Bills, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. He was listed as questionable but has been trending in the right direction after logging a full practice on Friday. The 26-year-old played nearly every snap through the first six games before exiting early in Week 7 and missing Week 8. His return comes at a great time for the Chiefs, as he'll offer improved protection for Patrick Mahomes in a competitive AFC showdown against the Bills.
